I have traveled on trains all over the world, including in India and Morocco. This was by far the worst experience I had. I bought tickets for myself and my daughter on an Amtrak Northwest regional train from New Rochelle to Newark, New Jersey. We got to the station about 20 minutes early and saw that the train was listed as being 20 minutes delayed. We sat in the station waiting patiently, and when it was coming close to the time that our train was supposed to arrive, albeit delayed, we no longer saw our train listed on the board at all and heard no announcement. So yeah... good coffee and guards obsessed with urination. One star for me , but your mileage may vary. Also the trains are...

The main station as a ticket booth and vending machines if you didn't buy your ticket online. They have restrooms and a cafe. I really liked the murals on the walls. There's only two train platforms so it's easy to navigate and they have an elevator should...
