I hired Anika for staging. During our initial consultation, I asked how we would be corresponding. She said it was best thru email. Every time I emailed her, I received an automated response. She was NEVER available! She would get back to me weeks or a month later each time and request a zoom. She eventually apologized and explained that she has a whole new staff to train and is expanding her business. I wouldnât have minded at all until I saw the finalized bill right before the wedding. She added hundreds of dollars in consultation fees when she wouldnât answer any of my emails even for simple things. I traveled from Brooklyn to drop everything off to her building in Plattsburgh. She apparently wasnât there. We heard someone upstairs but didnât think anything of it. I had another âconsultationâ scheduled later on. I left her store after I dropped everything off and quickly realized I forgot to drop something else off. Minutes later when I got back to her building, there she was in her building. So she clearly didnât want to see me so she could add more money to my bill. I ordered 2 âsip and be seatedâ champagne selves and quickly realized I had ordered one too many. She assured me that 2 were fine and would look beautiful because she would spread the flute glasses out and add decor to the shelves. You will see in photos that the bottom 2 shelves on both stands are completely empty! I even gave her inspo photos of everything which I will post as well vs what I got. The centerpieces I went over with her thoroughly and showed an inspo pic of the Jackson vine I wanted draped from the candles I rented from her. I let her and the florist to figure out how this would get done. I will post the inspo pic vs what I got which is nothing like what I wanted. I ordered a wedding guest âI spyâ frame which I never got and said put anything on it for guests to take photos of throughout the night. I had to bury my mom the week before unfortunately so I wanted her place setting still at the table with her photo in her memory and I prepared my father to be on one side and my aunt of the other side. Well her staff messed up the seating arrangements and somehow my poor 16year old nephew had to sit next to his grandmotherâs memorial chair all night. I didnât find out until well after the fact. I asked for a recommendation for a place to have a buffet style dinner a year in advance for the night before after I signed her contract and hired her. She actually requested a $200 fee for a simple recommendation! You will get charged for every little thing. I literally printed photos and had post-its of where to put everything on each item. Half of it was not where it was supposed to go and one sign on the dessert table her staff put on its side instead of upright. I will post the photo with the sign on the left of the table. We hired Anika for day-of coordination support (which is really month-of support - incredible!) as well as furniture rentals.
Highlights of coordination services: Vision Execution: I was fairly detailed in my vision, and one of my biggest worries was making it come to life. Anika truly understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. Peace of Mind: From the minute Anika rallied our group together at the rehearsal, we knew she had our best interests at heart. She has 4 rules for the family/bridal party which made the entire weekend run smoothly. My mom & MOH were able to work with Anika in the background on any concerns or needs that popped up throughout the weekend. She prioritizes her couples maintaining a âbubble of blissâ and is amazing at it! Vendor Relations: While I sourced all my vendors, Anika developed quick relationships with them and brought everything together flawlessly. She worked hand in hand with the venue coordinator and it was like she was an extension of their time while having our best interest at heart. FUN! We had a cardboard cut out of our dog which Anika carried around all weekend long, it was so cute! During the ceremony she helped us get through moments of tears by making us smile constantly. When we requested glow sticks to come out during the reception, her team built us an epic glow stick jump rope. Amazing!
Highlights of rentals: Anikaâs collection is stunning and made for the perfect lounge areas for our guests during the reception We rented rugs, chairs, trunks, loveseats, and side tables the team did an incredible job setting up & tearing down, there was not a worry at all!

At the beginning of my wedding planning process I didn't think I needed a coordinator/planner, but looking back I really don't know how I would have done it without her. Our wedding truly was a dream come true, A+ experience, and I firmly believe that without Anika and her team it would have been B/B+. You only get married once, and I figured if I was going to spend so much time and effort planning this event I wanted it to be perfect, not nearly perfect, and Anika and her team were the difference between nearly perfect and perfect.
She thought of everything and had a great answer to all of my questions, and she put out all the little fires on wedding day. She shared a google sheet with me that had a detailed breakdown of all the things I needed to do before the wedding that was far more comprehensive than anything you can find online. She was so helpful and attentive throughout our wedding planning process, and most importantly she cheered me on and radiated positivity when the planning stress was getting the better of me.
Her rentals are the best! They are so reasonably priced, and I don't have any left over decorations that I have to resell or throw away which is such a weight off my shoulders (also more eco friendly!). They were all so beautiful and really made my vision/theme come to life.
All our vendors loved working with her, and they all told me how helpful she was to them. She had never worked at our venue before, but our contact at the venue was extremely impressed with her.
