Terrible costumer service and operations. Sent them a DM via Instagram with pictures of 2 pairs of shoes that I was interested in selling. I wanted to make sure theyâd be interested in these kind of shoes before I made the half hour trip. Didnât even ask for an estimate - just wanted to know if theyâd buy these kind. I checked back a day later and was left on read. It said my message was seen 2 hours ago and a day after that, still no response. I ended up driving out there just to arrive at a locked door. It was 4:30PM and hours of operation says 12PM-5PM online. Some guy (who was very nice) was sitting outside of the store and told me the owner just left. He must of been friends with the owner because he kindly gave him a call and asked if he could swing back and told him I was there to sell some shoes. Owner was apparently getting his haircut and then said he was only buying new shoes. I told the guy to tell him that my one pair were brand new. Owner then flip flopped and said heâs actually only buying new Dunkâs and Yeezyâs (if I remember the kinds correctly). Moral of the story, the owner clearly doesnât care about costumers or bothers to respond to DMâs. Despite being active on Instagram and posting stories along the lines of âAlways buying shoes, clothes, and toys!â but never specifies what kind. He doesnât care if you wasted your time coming to his business because his haircut is more important. The hours of operation are only 5 hours daily and he canât manage a 5 hour shift? Canât have someone else work? Canât book a haircut during the other 19 hours of the day thatâs left? The most disappointing part was I wanted to check out these pair of shoes they had for sale (besides being there to sell my own) and had the money ready but since costumers arenât prioritized or deserving enough for a DM - Iâll take my money else where. I love supporting locally owned / small businesses because most owners are enthusiastic, helpful, and care about their community but you wonât find that...
Read moreA couple days ago a friend suggested to me and another friend look into Capacity in order to sell an Off White piece. The piece is in new condition and had only been worn three or four times; we had been told that this place was as good as selling online but when we walked up to the door, during their store hours, was locked and there was no sign of any employees. After waiting like ten minutes in the cold the guy we assumed was the owner exited a building from across the street, didnât say two words to us, and pushed passed us to open the door. Not bothering to even acknowledge that we were standing at the door. When we went inside to have the piece appraised he had told us that the piece was worth only $100 cash or $140 store credit, keep in mind much of what they sell is worn to the point of not being worth the money, when the piece was only worn three to four times and hand washed just so the dye wouldnât bleed through when worn. Everything that came with the hoodie was presented to him and despite paying $300 for it and it being the newest season of Off White he was persistent that it was only worth $100. We left and had the piece appraised by a private buyer, telling us the piece could easily fetch $180-$200. After posting it online we went back one more time to see if he would give us a better deal only for him to tell us the piece was only worth $50 now. Everytime weâve gone in, either to sell or peruse, the gentleman that worked there would ignore or presence, give us an attitude worse than your average Kaarenâs, and wouldnât listen to a single word we had to say. Itâs a shame that a store based solely off of reselling dope pieces such as the one we brought in is so reluctant to not only listen to his customers but claim that his knowledge on all pieces that are âhype beastâ esc is superior than anyone elseâs. Sadly I canât back a business that wonât even help out the locals of the city they base...
