I bought a couch from Ashley’s furniture on Dec. 28th of 2023 from the Emily Dr. store in Clarksburg. The price tag said it is $1,500 and some change. I paid a total of 2, 100 and some change. I wanted to finance, the salesman said sure but them they put it on a credit card. So now, I have a credit card I do not want. Is this what you call financing? The estimated delivery is 4-6 weeks. The salesman told me “I can get you this couch at a MUCH cheaper price.” This was a lie, he did not, I paid FULL price. Also, he said, “it will be delivered before the 4 weeks are up!” This was also a lie. During the 6th week when I did not hear from anyone from Ashley’s furniture, I called them on a Monday. They told me the couch has not made it to their warehouse yet. I waiting a couple of days to call back on Wednesday only to be told “Oh, we have been trying to call you all week and have already called several times but could not get a hold of you. We could not leave a message because your phone is not accepting messages.” This was also a lie since I have a cell phone and not a land line. I can tell if I had a missed call or not and my phone accepts messages from everyone else just fine. When the couch FINALLY is delivered, it was sinking in the middle within a WEEK! The couch is sinking in in the middle and is not comfortable to sit on at all. I had to call them back YET AGAIN. They send out a “couch technician”. LMAO! What does this tell you if you have to have a tech for your cheap couch? Insta-trash products that are expensive. The tech came out and confirmed that the cushions are collapsing. Now, I have to wait on them to get back to me is what I was told when the tech was done. Hopefully, he will actually call me and I am not going to have to call them again and beg and nag for them to do their job and fix their cheap product. Thanks for nothing, HUGE regret buying from you. Also, my first payment is in 2 weeks and I still DO NOT HAVE A COUCH TO SIT ON BECAUSE IT...
Read moreWe purchased furniture in August of 2021. When purchasing they told us there was a warranty that covered EVERYTHING except if animals chewed on your furniture. We had an issue with the frame breaking on our recliner less than a month after delivery. They came and got it and fixed it. They told us it’s a common issue that they fix a lot,they aren’t built well. We now have the same issue on our couch recliner. I called today to have it fixed and was told they don’t cover the frames! All to our surprise because we were told it covered everything!!! I’ve been tossed between service that told me I’d have to pay for an appointment and services to have it fixed. The warranty department that told me to make sure we didn’t try to fix it our selves or the warranty would be VOID! The part that needs fixed is sewed so we can’t access it anyways. We paid a lot of money for a warranty that we can’t even use. I won’t be back to purchase from Ashley again and will let everyone know that they don’t stand by their word. Also the manager of the store we purchased(Clarksburg WV) from also can’t be located to speak with me. I am extremely dissatisfied and will be contacting further ups in the company to see why the warranty promised isn’t what customers...

He even pointed out the Bold printing on the price sheet saying they were on some big sale that just so happened to be extended thru mid week from the previous weekend, and the sale was ending that day in hours, BUT they were the same numbers that were there 3 weeks before. LIE #1. I then made the mistake of saying my max $ budget (price listed online from manufacturer), which he said he would definitely get the price way under it...but yet he had to ask the manager and finagle with numbers to get down to the manufacturer listed price (the origional "sale" price was several hundred more than the price listed online directly thru the manufacturer). Next he said that it would have to be ordered and no one would have them in stock. He knew this because of his YEARS in the business and he would get it the fastest. LIE #2. I got it that night at another store without ordering with no price haggling no BS no pressure and it was cheaper than on the manufacturer website.
