Was visiting family and broke my glasses, needed to have a pair made quickly. The night I went in, they wernât busy, and lady who assisted me was very nice. She took time to help me find some frames I liked, but she didnât rush me or pressure me. I ordered one pair of single vision and one pair of progressive lenses, which would be ready within 24 hours. When I went back the next day, they were SWAMPED. When my name was called, the same lady from the previous day gave me my new glasses. I put on the progressives and they were fine, but then I put on the single vision and discovered they were also progressives and I couldnât see as well out of them. When I told her, she simply looked at the paper, said âno, theyâre single vision, theyâre rightâ, and that was that. It was chaos and I didnât want to hold up the line...I figured I at least had glasses to get me through my drive back home, so I left. Keep in mind, the whole time Iâm waiting for my turn to, another employee was running around talking to people about their âperiffeealâ vision and just sounding completely clueless. I was left with the impression that 1. these gals donât have enough help, and 2. Some of them need additional training because they sound like idiots. The lady who waited on me was very smart and she knew her stuff, she was just overwhelmed with customers. The other rather loud gal and her âperiffeeal visionâ, just gave the whole place an unprofessional atmosphere. These are peopleâs EYES and their VISION. This isnât Chuck E. Cheese!! When someone is in charge of peopleâs eyesight, they could at least learn to pronounce important words correctly so folks can feel more confident about the help their receiving. Anyhow, upon arriving home a few days later, I took the glasses to my eye doctor and he confirmed that they WERE progressives AND they were the wrong Rx!! Just wonderful!! Now Iâm stuck driving an hour and a half to get them fixed, which is my fault. I should have insisted she check them more thoroughly, but like I said, it was nuts that day. It was just a bad experience all around, and unfortunately I wonât ever be going...
Read moreCan I give less than 1 star? Never ever get glasses in less than an hour. Machine is always down so it takes several days. Ordered Monday was told Saturday by 4pm. Called to see and they broke a lens, and the machine went down again. Okay so I've been waiting all day and you could t even call and say they wouldn't be ready.....I called and now they wont be ready until maybe tuesday....180 bucks and a kid who cant see because they are never prepared nor do they communicate with the customer. Maybe you all should retrain for customer service to say the very least so that we know we aren't getting something by the time you promised.....
*UPDATED 10/31/2018 I received a call from Jennifer, a manager at Eyemart. She was very friendly and customer orientated. She offered an amends to the situation and I feel better about the situation. I felt that I should update my post to say that Management can and will help if you contact them with issues! Thanks...
Read moreMy experience at Eyemart Express on Emily Drive in Clarksburg was superb from start to finish! Upon entering, I was greeted immediately and paired to work with the lovely Drema. She was so patient allowing and encouraging me to take my time selecting frames. This will be my first pair of prescription glasses so I pretty sure I was attempting to try on every pair in stock. đ Drema was so geniune and honest (as I urged her to be) when helping me narrow down my final selections. Once again, she was so kind and patient while waiting on my family to reply to my texts asking for their opinions too. I ended up selecting two sets of frames. Drema was very detailed while explaining how my lenses will work and the coverage on them after purchase. I highly recommend this Eyemart Express at Emily Drive! Five stars! Ask for...
