I walked into the pawn shop after shattering the screen on my phone. I had been in there one time before and saw that they had a couple iPhone 5 that I thought I could use to replace mine. There was a blonde woman there who was very helpful. I asked her whether or not those phones were compatible with MetroPCS service and the red headed woman interrupted and said, "we don't work for the phone company!" the redhead, who I believe is the assistant manager, was very rude and I told her that I was not speaking to her. I was conducting business with another employee. She said that she would not be discounting anything for me and that I was not welcome. I told her that she was disgusting and she called me a b** and told me to never come back. I told her that I would not dream of ever spending a dollar someplace that I was treated like that. I have never been treated so badly in my life. and to think I was willing to spend $400 on a phone in that place! Instead I went to the cell phone repair shop on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. There I got the same phone(Galaxy S5) for about $100 less and was treated very well by Ryan. It's right across the street from the Cricket Wireless store. Go check them out, they have the newest and hottest phones...
Read moreTheir purchasing prices are sketchy at best, and they will %100 percent not take items they don’t want. So I walked in with some tools (6 tools) that I’ve been trying to sell on Facebook marketplace. The guy asked me what I needed I told him I was trying to sell these tools and he said ok “politely”, but the moment I said a price he totally low balled me, not even half of what I wanted. The offer he gave was $6. He then proceeded to tell me that the one name brand tool (Dewalt) that I walked in with they won’t buy off of me for even a $1. Just because they didn’t have any other older style stick batteries. So at this point I ask if it’s ok if I grab another item ( grabs a $150 multimeter). So I walk up to him and asks how much he would buy this for, his response was $10 bucks. Like I had no intentions of selling that multimeter, but that’s insanely low. The other tools I took the $6 for but only because I really didn’t want them taking up room at my house and waiting for someone to buy on Facebook. But yeah, don’t come here to sell anything. You may find some good deals but you will not be paid a reasonable amount...
Read moreI had a very good experience with this pawn shop! So on July 14th, I pawned my 55’ Hisense Roku tv and yesterday, July 24th I went to pick it up and upon getting it home and plugging it in, I discovered there was a line across the screen indicating damage . The only issue was it was after hours when I discovered this so I had to wait until today , Friday the 25th. Well this morning at 9 am when they opened , I called and was greeted by a very nice woman. I explained the issue and she told me the manager would be in in an hour or so so I waited and took the tv in around that time and the manager , I believe his name was James, plugged up my tv , saw the line and offered to give me the same tv from their floor but a 58’! I wasn’t expecting this level of service from a pawn shop I must be honest but they went above and beyond and even helped carry it and fit it in my car as I am 38 weeks pregnant so I will definitely return if needed to do business with them! I also like how every time I go in, it’s familiar faces . Definitely enjoying the TV even though my kids have me watching...
