Crazy story... (sorry it is a bit long.) So I went to Kohl's as I walked in I grabbed a cart and as I started to walk away, I noticed there were a pair of sunglasses in there, so I handed it to the first employee I saw at a register. I then went about my business and went shopping. I remembered I had to return something, so I headed to customer service. As I went into my cart to grab my purse. I noticed another purse in my cart. I thought "boy did I grab somebody else's cart?", but then I realized I had just grabbed an empty cart from the front of the store. It then hit me, somebody had left their purse in this cart. So right where I was standing I turned it in to customer service. The employee radioed and asked if the lady who was looking for her purse, was still in the store. The employee on the other end said "yes, she's standing right in front of me" so they immediately sent her back to customer service. I was back there when she came back to get her purse. She was an older lady and just started crying, she said "Thank you for being so honest, I really appreciate it. There aren't many people like you left in this world." She asked me if she could hug me and we hugged. And she cried harder. She then left and then suddenly reappeared and handed me her $30 Kohl's cash she had received plus $20 and said. "Thank you for being so honest. You should be rewarded for it." I told her, I didn't need it. And I was just doing what I knew was right." She then again hugged me and cried and went about her way. I know my parents raised me right. To always be honest and a trustworthy person. I would never have used anything in her purse or done anything to jeopardize my honesty. The moral of the story: Always do the...
Read moreKohls itself I give 5 stars (been shopping with Kohls for years)...the Clarksvile store, however, is getting 1-star for their customer service. Whoever "Tattiana" is back at the customer service desk is--NEEDS TO BE FIRED for her little smart mouth, hateful, unhelpful attitude. I've been shopping with this store longer than I'm sure she has been employed. I know the policies on "order online pick up in store". I often have my mother pick items up for me due to her living closer to the store. She went in the store today to get an order and from the start the girl was a smart a$$. My mother also knows she has to be listed as a pick up person. When she told Tattiana what she was there for she got attitude like my mother was dumb and gave the spiel over pick up policy. She didn't even properly pull my order up to see if my mom was listed!!! My mother is one of the sweetest people you will meet and she didn't deserve this treatment. My mom tried to give her the phone so I could verify she was listed she refused to listen and told my mom she refused to help and tried to get my mom to leave! Mom asked for a manager she said she was the manager?!? Finally she managed to shut her smart mouth and actually LISTEN and pulled the order up--guess what was listed???-Of course my mom as a pick up person. It is awful that this girl (I refuse to say woman because a real woman doesn't disrespect her elders) is a representative of Kohls! Just because she is having a bad day or whatever her issue is she shouldn't take it out on customers. I believe from here on out I will stick to...
Read moreLike many of the main chain retail stores within the Clarksville area, this is a "smaller" version of a regular or even supersized Kohl's. The customer service has always been friendly, both at the register and within the customer service counter. They are up to date on the trendy stock of merchandise, however, you have to remember that because it IS a smaller location, they will have less stock. Because of this reason, items won't go to clearance as quickly and/or, whenever they DO, it won't be as steeply marked, bc chances are pretty good that it'll be purchased with just the sales price. The store is overall, very well kept and clean/organized. Employees always offer the Kohl's card to save an individual whatever % for that weekend. I know that that's a big deal for corporate to know...however, I usually tell them that they don't have to worry about pitching the sale, if I'm just going in and out for a quick item. The location has a huge parking lot, and it's situated off of wilma rudolph, in the big shopping chain center that also has the Books a million. (Should be relatively easy to see from the main road.) The only suggestion that I could make, to make Kohl's slightly better, would be to allocate at least one cart return area outside, in the parking area, instead of all the way back in the store. I know that mom's who have to wrestle kiddos for afternoon naps, don't have time to run all the way back into the store, to replace the carts...hence the reason they wind up getting left in the parking lot. Just a...
