Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Clarksville

My favorite store in Clarksville. I was hoping the Tennesseans would share and sure enough in October of 2016, Zephyrhills, FL gained an Ollies & then I think October 2018, Lakeland, FL gained an Ollies right near the mall.

Why is this better than the 2 near me? Because the employees and customers are friendly there even though the parking lot was just as packed as our Florida Ollies + nothing has been moved around since I went to this specific Ollies back in September 2016 so on January 17th of 2019, it felt like as if I was there last week. That and they have the longest Twizzlers there so I knew I had to bring that with me to Florida if the airports will allow it (If I don't eat it all up before then. My nieces loved and laughed how long it was and the price was too good to miss.).

This is my first experience with Ollie's, and I love the concept. Prices range from "why did I buy this someplace else?!" to pretty good. While plenty of inventory takes awhile to turnover, you never know what you'll run into. So, take a minute--or two hours--to hit the whole store you're first visit or three. Get an idea what's available all the time, or pretty much, before you get too used to it and only focus on the fresh goods in the middle. Great for carpet, rugs, mattresses, some furniture, seasonals, and plenty more. I've even run across a really cool line of fisher-price wooden baby toys at a terrific price. This store sells stuff that larger retailers are dumping from their inventory so you pay less. Their inventory changes based on what the big stores are getting rid of, so what they have in stock today may not be there tomorrow. It's best to visit frequently and survey what's on the shelves to find deals on stuff you need. They had pool chlorine test strips once at 1/3 the price you can find them anywhere else so I bought enough to last me a couple years...
