My husband bought me a ring from Sunny's for Our 19 yr anniversary. I asked it to be saughtered together and sized. I needed it to be a size 6. But the guy at the counter asked to see the ring on my other hand to size my new ring by. Although I clearly said I wanted my new purchase to be a 6....they sized it to the 5 1/2 I had on my other hand. I told them I needed the new ring to be a 6 because of my knuckle. They did not listen!!! When I picked up the ring it was tight but what did I do? I accepted it since it did fit but was hard to get over my knuckle as I had explained it would be b4 they sized it. My error! Never again....if I say this is what I want they will do it or I will not purchase it. (Round 1) after one week I could not deal with struggling to get the ring off my finger, so I took it back to have it resized. They were going to charge me $40 of course I was upset. The mgr Rachel looked at the ring and placed it on a stick of some sort using a small rubber palette to try to enlarge the sterling silver fully stoned ring for $214. THANK YOU RACHEL. I KNOW YOU TRIED & I APPRECIATE IT. Guess what! 2 days later the saugtering came apart. REALLY!! SO back I go and Sunny himself who tried to make it right assured me he would fix the ring. So I leave tge ring for about 1/2 hour. This time my ring was returned to me tarnished with a black coloration. Sunny says it's from saughtering again. No big deal it would eventually go away. Ok....hubby approved it as I called him while still at the island there at Greentree Mall also sending a picture again as Sunny said it would wear off. Hmm not sure about that bcuz its been 2 weeks now and it's still discolored. So I'm shopping this evening and look down at my ring thought I had a piece of black fuzz from my gloves on my ring and Oh my Lord one of the small stones is gone. So I call Sunny and he's going to charge me to replace the stone. I'm beside myself. I have not even had this ring 2 months yet. He told me when I buy a car and wreck it I shouldn't expect to get it fixed for nothing. Or a cell phone if I break the screen I'm responsible to replace screen. I get that and I agree IF I do the damage. But how can a ring lose a stone in a month and it be the fault of the owner? ALL I DID WAS WEAR THE RING! I WILL GO THERE AND GET IT FIXED PAYING THE $20 FOR THIS TINY LITTLE STONE BUT I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SUNNY AGAIN. I DID NOT DO ANYTHING BUT WEAR THIS RING ON MY FINGER. EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!!!! THESE PEOPLE LIE AND WILL CHEAT YOU!!!!! I brought my engagement ring to this place to get it sized while I waited because of my work schedule I couldn’t go where I normally go which is FastFix. At first they tried telling me my ring was a size 6.5 which was not true it was a size 7 most rings you buy new normally are a size 7 unless you get it sized, and I needed it sized to an 8. So that kind of made me sketchy because the sizer tool they had wasn’t even completely rounded it looked like it was hand made. This was so they could get more money from me! Instead of needing just one size up they said it was almost 2 sizes up and I had to pay for two sizes up which wasn’t the case but how do you argue with that?! So I went ahead and allowed them to size my ring when I should have left and listened to my gut feeling saying walk away! It’s now been 2 weeks and the ring has turned a different color only in the spot they sized the ring not the whole ring itself!! It’s white gold and yes my ring is real!!! I have a warranty where I bought my ring originally and they told me to take it back there that they didn’t do anything but stretch the ring!!! I am not a stupid woman and told them I know for a fact you have to add gold to it when sizing otherwise it would stretch thin!!! Yellow gold is dipped in rhodium and that’s how you get white gold! They did not do this in the process of sizing that’s why it is changing colors!! So they kept telling me they did nothing to take it back where I bought it, trying to say to me I bought fake gold jewelry at JCPenney. No I don’t think so!! I have bought jewelry from JCPenney’s for years and never would they sell fake gold! The person at Sunny’s Jewelers told me if I bought my ring from them that they warranty their jewelry as if my ring was fake!! No they are the ones cheating people not JCPenney’s. IM JUST SAYING WATCH OUT AND DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY TO FIX YOUR JEWELRY!! I saw all the good reviews at the top of the list and didn’t see the bad reviews that were near the bottom so make sure you carefully read all reviews!!!! Otherwise I would not have went with this company!!! They don’t have the same values as most companies here which is not cheating people out of money, and guaranting their work is good!! I will be going back to FASTFIX to size my wedding band and they are going to fix the mistake this company made on my...

Went here to have my moms gold necklace repaired, and had to bring it back to have fixed again 2 days later. I called and told them what had happened, the woman told me to bring it up and they would fix it free of charge, cool. So I take it up there, and sunny looks at it and tries to tell me that the necklace didnt break from the spot that he fixed, and refused to fix it. But yet you can clearly see the piece he "welded" sticking up from the necklace where it broke, so at this point he is straight lying to my face, and trying to tell me that I dont know what my own necklace looked like before I brought it to him. Needless to say, he didnt fix what he was supposed to in the first place, and now I'm out money with a still broken necklace. So all in all, he lied to me, I got called a liar, he didnt correctly do the job he was paid to do, and he wouldnt fix his own work.
