It is Sad this is the best seafood restaurant we have in the area. Due to popularity it stays busy. Food okay to satisfying. Service and cleanliness good. Expensive. Good for special occasions. Update: we went Friday night later than usual. Staff at Front check in stand a bit confusing. We sat on bench and waited less than 5 minutes. We were taken escorted way in the back. Table for Eight was the nearest and their toddlers messed up the place real good. That is a shame customers bring their kiddos and don't pick up after them. Stuff all over the floor. The busser finally arrived and missed picking up the crud off of the floor. He looked bored and unhappy. The hostess had to clean the mess up after she sat down customers there. The only reason she did is that The customers ask for it to be cleaned up. Our server took care of us delivering our food although lacked personality. He seemed a bit awkward in what to say. He was too quick and gone and never asked if we needed anything for follow up, which I did. Atmosphere pleasant. Food was good. We had an enjoyable dinner. Disappointed in lobster bisque. Quality has changed over the years. This place is just not what is used to be. 5-29-2020: tried again. it was surprisingly good. raised rating up to a five. pleasant service and atmosphere. good quality food. nice meal. 6-16-20: it was okay this time. service good. food wasn’t as good this time though. pleasant atmosphere. lowering rating to four. 3-22-21 update: lowered rating to one. this place over rated and over priced. caesar salad was disappointing and dressing wasn’t saturated in the mix. it was presented on the side. if not popular then they should incorporate mix and shake together per order. male staff member heard talking about stupid stuff behind a wall, which was unprofessional and annoying. baked potato was not the great salted down good quality as before. it was regular potato i can make at home. plus, they charge .99 extra for the potato toppings and forgot the sour cream. i had to ask for it. the grilled bay scallops were very fishy and disappointing. king fish restaurant’s scallops are way much better. the scampi shrimp was just okay. for $28 with tip i can go to china buffet restaurant, which is nearby, three times and they cook shrimp to order way better than this place. even the tea was like syrup. I was very disappointed with quality of the food this time. this was not a $28 meal. This place...
Read moreI am never one to do this as I have served for 15 years now and understand the trials restaurants endure. However, this was a disaster in my opinion. We arrived for my 7 year olds birthday dinner at 7:50p.m. We waited at the front as numerous staff walked by, finally being seated by the busser Aries. We did not receive dinner until 9:15 p.m. we live an hour away so it was already planned to be a late evening, but not to return at 11p.m. At night! The server seemed overwhelmed, she forgot to give the bill to the table behind us who also had children and they were highly upset. Tray jacks with trays left from serving were the only option for me to clear my table of our appetizers that took 45 minutes to receive. Out of 6 serves I seen on our side, not one of them touched that tray jack, they left it in the middle of the restaurant aisle for over 30 minutes. The 2 bussers came and finally removed it. The manager looked lost, he helped us twice by request, but never asked if we needed anything else. Servers were in the back LITERALLY “twerking” to “SKEEYEE” by the trashy rapper known as Sexy Redd!!! I didn’t even bother telling them it was my sons birthday, it was obvious it wouldn’t matter. The mixed reviews on this establishment were a toss up so I thought maybe it would be ok. NO! I spent $211, cocktail Glasses dirty, silverware water stained and ridden with food from previous use. Our server was inexperienced or didn’t care. She tried, but it was a loss. For the amount of money many spend at a restaurant like this you do not behave nor offer such low service. I won’t ever go back, I still tipped my server 20%, because you never know what a person is going through. However, I looked at my fiancé and I was heartbroken that I chose such a place for a special evening. The food was warm, my 3 year old didn’t even eat his shrimp. I was just ready to go and forget this ever happened. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS CORPORATE SENDS SOMEONE TO RE-TRAIN AND KEEPS A CORPORATE FIGURE THERE FOR A FEW MONTHS TO ENSURE PROPER TRAINING IS ESTABLISHED. And they need to publicly announce that the store has been...
Read moreOur family isn’t typically one to stop at a restaurant and eat, but let me tell you i’m glad we did! From the moment we walked into the door it felt like a warm hug. Immediately greeted by a hostess as our kids run over to look at the lobster tank. Before we were taken back we got to see what we were gonna be eating! Jasmine was kind enough to pull a couple lobsters out and tell the kids (and us adults) some interesting facts about them. I loved the fact she immediately noticed the kids were skittish and questioning and immediately said they can’t hurt you and showed them it was okay and trusting. Did you know their teeth are in their stomach?!?!? OMG 😱 Following her to the table it was great conversation and just all around friendly vibes, also i could not stop staring at her hair, it is absolutely gorgeous and i LOVED the emerald green she has in it. She waited till we sat down and got situated to give us our menus , which i loved!! Another thing i love was our server Summer!!! She is absolutely amazing! She was on top of EVERYTHING. Got us more bread, drinks, got the dishes out of the way , i mean before i could even think she was on it. She was so so friendly with the kids, which i loved to see cause i remember when servers didn’t really interact with the kids and it was just another job. I love when people enjoy their jobs. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, all of the above! Thank You Clarksville Red Lobster. I can whole heartedly say we will be back for some more biscuits and...
