Hot Topic — Local services in Clarksville

Had almost 100 dollars worth of clothes I intentionally picked out today at Hot Topic located in the Green Tree Mall. As I was going through the clearance racks (i usually fall in love with some of the rare items I find!) one of the workers harassed my husband and I over our hot topic accounts. The worker insisted that I didn’t have an account under my number but I for sure do… so I went to check out and the worker didn’t know how to remove the safety pins and security guards off clothing leaving a mom and her daughter to return to get them taken off their already purchased items.

This worker in particular had no idea how their buy two get two deal worked with clearance. Denied me my discount. Rang me up for 6 items and then said a jacket wasn’t clearance when the tag literally fell off and I had it in hand.

I won’t be back to this store. Quite honestly I was heart broken to leave those items behind but due to the lack of customer service and friendliness I will go to St Matthews or J-Mall.

I will for sure contact corporate and let them know what is happening to this store. I wouldn’t be surprised if this store closes because of their ignorant...

Great staff and management! People are kind to an aging Punk/Fanperson who still shops here with my kids. And a HUGE THANK YOU for the kindness, patience, decency and humanity given to my special needs children! This is one of the few stores (this location specifically in Clarksville Indiana) where we do not feel judged if on of my kiddos becomes overwhelmed and has a meltdown. The staff is legitimately understanding and kind enough to help by almost any means necessary. They have voiced their empathy due to lived experience or just out of their understanding that sometimes the store's size and amount of things in store CAN become overwhelming for anyone- so they have told my children it's ok to be themselves. It is wonderful to have a place to feel safe when you feel everything is too much or you know you're different. I'm so happy this HT location employees people who embody this culture of safe space...

My family and I were just refused entry in to the store because we weren’t wearing face masks. The mask mandate was lifted Weeks ago! If you’re going by what the CDC or Dr Fauci “recommends” then you’re going to be in masks for years to come. It’s their job to recommend safety precautions. They always will from now until the end of time. Anyway, we immediately walked down to Spencers and they allowed us in with no issues. We then proceeded to spend $180 with them. Needless to say we will never be back to Hot Topic and will recommend all of our friends and family to do the same. Might wanna think about changing that policy as business didn’t seem to be boomin’ . There was no one else in the store and I think I...
