I posted this on yelp but I’m putting this here because the watermelon issue could’ve landed me in the hospital!
This store has honestly been the worst part about living in Coventry Village. I have been shopping in this store for almost two years. It's always been frustrating. Especially since when I first moved here they didn't have simple things like Alfredo Sauce. Now they have the worst selection of foods I've ever seen. The fruit is always bad! I have an ED and since I don't drive this store is my sole way to get food. Fruit is a comfort item for me. I have thrown away almost $80 in fruit over the past two months. My watermelons have shown signs of either dangerous Nitrate levels or Rind Necrosis (super hard yellow chunks even a knife won't cut through, my mangoes have been molded on the inside, etc. The selection has gone down drastically. I can never find the things I used to get here all the time. Example: Ham and Cheese lunchables (which they switched out with Bologna and chicken). The lines are always extremely long! I have gone multiple times in the past months and have stood in line for upwards of 30/40 minutes. The express line is terrible because there is always that one older customer who has no idea what they're talking about arguing with the cashier or having the cashier do things for them that they're capable of doing themselves. I've waited longer in the express line than a regular one. While staff is always kind and helpful. This store is a waste of time. They don't even have regular maple and brown sugar oatmeal just the sugar free alternatives (which is another issue of theirs. If you're gonna have alternatives for an item at least carry...
Read moreI shopped at the Coventry store on 07- 21-17 at appropimately 12:08.Most of their staff were friendly and helpful. The aisles are small. The store is very organized. I am a disabled senior citizen. Usually the staff at Mark's store are patient and very helpful. I felt rushed by their cashier Jennifer W. She laughed with the customer behind me .I saw something her hand and the customer stated the item was not hers. Jennifer looked at me and laughed. Knowing that payed for an item I did not have.Jenniferl let me leave the store without my item.I think she knew it was mine and laughed after rushing me to wait on the customer behind me.
