I had a bad facial experience at this salon but decided to give them another chance because I found a stylist on Instagram that did hair at this location. I called in and asked for a time that the specific stylist could do a "cut and full color". The receptionist gave me a time in two weeks. I really needed to get it done before the appointment she gave me but because I liked the stylists work I decided it was worth the wait. The appointment time was at 1:20. I arrived early and the receptionist said that the stylist would be ready at 1:45. I do not mind because I would not want her to rush on my hair if I was the appointment ahead of someone else. So I waited and that 25 minutes turned into 40 minutes. When I got to the back and said that I wanted to go blonde the stylist said that she's leaving in two hours but that she could do highlights. I centered my entire day on the appointment and cleared everything I had to do to be told that she only has time to do something I didn't ask for. The irony is that I already have highlights (done at Tricho-Sommerset) and they took four hours to do themselves. If the stylist only had a two hour time slot open I do not understand how they can schedule something that takes hours. I do not blame the stylist but she seemed more concerned with leaving in two hours and pushing a rushed highlight job at me than their own mistake or my time. Don't waste your time here like I did. I now need to find another salon and wait another two weeks. At least I won't be turned...
Read moreIve had great experiences the last couple times I’ve been here but this time was different. When I first arrived I was scheduled with a stylist, and she was running late and I was asked to walk around for 20 minutes until she finished, which is completely understandable. As I was walking around, I get a phone call that another stylist could take me right now so that was whatever, I came back and went with the other stylist. As I was getting my hair washed out the stylist hit my ear so hard it knocked my earring out, so after I was washed, my hair was so tangly from the color from teasing it it took 3 people for about 40 minutes to brush out my hair. I understand it gets knotty from the teasing but my hair was getting pulled so hard it made me very uncomfortable. After, the stylist had a client waiting so she went with her and had another girl wash out the toner as well as blowdry and curl. I dont know if I was supposed to ask for a hair cut, but I didn’t receive a trim or anything. The last two times I came here and put blonde in my hair I didnt even have to say I wanted one, the stylist would just do it. (I assumed when you put blonde in your hair you should trim it, because it somewhat drys it out.) While the other stylist was blowdrying my hair she was so close to my head with the blowdryer it literally burned my scalp and also kept hitting the side of my head with the brush. Just an overall bad experience this time. Hair turned out great 10/10 but...
Read moreMy friend booked our appointment for pedicures. We had higher expectations after reading other reviews in general of salon. The nail tech was very quiet but nice. However, there were many concerns. They did not use liners in pedicure tub, nor did she wash the tub in between me and my friend. (Made me wonder if they wash them at all between clients) Side note, there was a large bag of liners sitting next to the chairs. The tools were not sanitized and she took them one by one from a grocery type bag inside of a bag that was like the oversized Marshall bags you buy at their check out. The nail file wasn’t new and she cut my skin next to my toe and it instantly started bleeding. The clippers for cuticles were taken from her bag and placed in jar of barbicide for maybe 1 minute. There was little scrubbing and no lotion after. They do not do gel polish for pedicures (which is fine, that’s their choice). Drying time was very long as the polish was so thick it was leaving peaks of polish on my toes. She tried to thin out the polish but it didn’t really help. After an hr of letting my toes dry they were still tacky. Needless to say I couldn’t wait any longer for it to dry and my socks stuck to my toes and the polish is ruined. (I guess that’s my fault for not waiting longer for it to dry). But for $45 for a pedicure at a salon I had much higher expectations. We left very disappointed and do not have any plans...
