I could not locate my coupon and asked the cashier if I could speak to a manager. She told me that there was not a manager. I changed my question to a statement and she suddenly was able to call one. So, your employee lied. I explained the situation and the manager attempted to argue with me. She eventually told the cashier to give me my 15% off. The cashier did so, she threw my receipt at me and also my over stuffed bag. I do not blame the young cashier for being unable to think. She has been trained to have limited skills and can only do what the cash register tells her to do. I do blame the business for not providing adequate training and for the manager walking away to let the girl deal with me. Kohls continues to act like they are not able to give discounts unless they can scan a barcode. However there are 15, 20, 25, and 30 percent buttons on the register screen. I will not be returning. On my way out another manager came to me and said she was the manager. I was shopping with my autistic son and veteran disabled husband. I did not have time or energy to discuss the incompetence of the cashier and entire business with her. Funny though, it went from no managers to two managers, no discount can be given to a discount CAN be given. Like I said, will not return. Do better Kohks. In closing a young man took over the register next to the girl and I heard him say that I was the issue. He was not at that station for the entire transaction so with his limited pieces of knowledge about what had happened he made an assumption. I will not tolerate a young cashier with limited skills to roll her eyes and treat me with a severe attitude. Even if that attitude was age appropriate. Train the staff, especially the younger generation. They are not getting guidance anywhere else. Customer service needs to be a priority. This past year has taught society that we have choices as to where to shop and spend our money; also businesses have been eliminated entirely. Maybe as a corporation Kohls should recognize that and put efforts into keeping customers rather than...
Read moreI recently visited Kohl's department store, and while my experience was moderate, there were a few things that left me feeling less than satisfied.
Firstly, I was disappointed to find that Kohl's did not carry some of my favorite brands. As someone who likes to shop for specific items, it was frustrating to find that I couldn't find what I was looking for at this store. I understand that every retailer has their own selection of brands, but I wish that Kohl's would expand their offerings to include a wider range of products.
Additionally, I was disappointed to find that Kohl's did not have my size in certain items, specifically my preferred brand of underwear. While I know this may seem like a small issue, it's frustrating to not be able to find basic items that I need. I would have appreciated if Kohl's carried a wider range of sizes and brands, especially for items like undergarments.
However, there were some positive aspects of my experience at Kohl's. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to shop and find what I needed. The staff were also friendly and helpful when I had questions about certain products.
Overall, while my experience at Kohl's was only moderate, I believe that with some improvements, it could be a great place to shop. I would be more likely to return if they expanded their selection of brands and sizes, especially for basic items...
Read moreThe girl who works the amazon return counter has a very nasty and aggressive attitude. I normally do not shop on amazon and very rarely do returns for my husband. So I've definitely had done returns with her before and this was the WORST experience I've had yet.
This weekend I ended up having several orders to return. I'm somewhat familiar with the process, I had my return barcodes with me at the ready, and there was NO line due to the store being dead.
I was greeted with a very rude "are those all your returns?" And I responded yes and apologized for 4-5 different orders that I had for her to process (small items, clothing). She rolled her eyes, and her body language and tone of voice was so unpleasant, disrespectful and unnecessary the entire time thereafter. She raised her voice at me and yelled NO when I was confused about what she told me was in one order I nearly jumped out of my skin. Over a pair of pants that was attached to the order I wasn't even aware about...and misunderstood what was going on. Completely unacceptable.
When my husband walked up with his order she was pleasant to him. The difference in behavior and attitude was outstanding. Someone needs to coach her to do and be better because regardless of whether you like your job or not, I didnt come to your store to be...
