I work in outside sales and have a focus on salons and barbershops. I walked by this store to go into the barbershop next door and the store front was really beautiful and eye catching. On my way out of the barbershop I wanted to walk in to see if they had any air plants because I have been looking for one and they are surprisingly hard to find. When I walked in the person working had a very poor tone and abruptly said “Do you need something?” I was taken back and responded that I was coming in as a consumer and asked if she even wanted to help me. I was carrying two of my work bags so I don’t know if she thought I was trying to sell to her but she got an attitude in her response too and I decided that I would not give this place my business. This woman is unbelievably rude. I’ll never go back here again.
Edit in response: to be clear what you’re going to see on the camera footage is her yelling at me to “HAVE A GREAT DAY” passive aggressively and me saying “I hope yours gets better. Wow! Unbelievable.” And walking to my car where I did sit in it to write this review. Then when I got home I found some really cute airplants on Etsy and gave my business to someone else. It’s unfortunate when people make an assumption and judge someone based on their appearance. Walking by I thought your store looked really cute and unique. It drew me in and looked like a place where I could make a purchase because I love plants. I do really hope your small...
Read moreI was walking around the Promenade in Coconut Creek for exercise when I spotted Burs, a florist across from Soma and next to Mama Asian Bistro. I was so excited to finally see something new here. I made a beeline to check it out.
The shop is small at only 80 square feet but it is so adorable and makes great use of the space. They sell rare and exotic plants and plant accessories. The owner Bur has even partnered with local artists to offer some of their goods as well. I loved the adorable crochet plants, especially the bonsai.
The thing that I think really sets Burs apart is its BYOB: build your own bouquet. For $27.99 you can chose 10 stems of the most beautiful and unusual stems of flowers. The depth of color was amazing and I definitely saw things I have never seen anywhere else. The bouquets being put together were absolutely stunning. I love how you can really add your personalization to the arrangements. After discovering Burs I will never pick up a Publix bouquet again. For just a little more money you can have a one of a kind bouquet that will make the recipient feel truly special. Or as Miley says, " I can buy...
Read moreI've been coming to this location since it opened. I've yet to leave a review but after reading some of the reviews on here I thought it was time to leave a HONEST review. The store is amazing. The plants are healthier than anywhere I've been, and Im a true plant shopper. Her bouquets are new age and my wife will except no other flowers, she knows Burs paper wrapping anywhere. The staff has always been more then helpful and never rude. The owner is amazing and helpful and I send everyone here. Never heard not one bad thing . The owner prides herself on keeping a clean store and it always has the most amazing scents coming from the store. I hope this review helps the owner get the respect she and her amazing store deserves. Best thing to happen to the...
