Night Owl Cookies at Coconut Creek's Promenade is so worth the indulgence! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a fun, vibrant vibe that makes you feel right at home. Special shoutout to Jhaid for the warm welcome, and Jamie for making sure my order was just right! The shop was clean and cozy, with a few spots to sit while you wait or enjoy your treat.
Let's talk cookies: soft, chewy, and packed with flavor! I had a few--Oreo Brownie Cheesecake (hello, dessert heaven), Chocolate S'mores topped with gooey marshmallows, and the Honey Hot Buns, which tasted just like my favorite childhood snack but in cookie form. I also grabbed a Red Velvet cookie, and yes--it actually tasted like red velvet cake, not just some generic sugary batter. Loved the chocolate chip cookie, Jhaid did not hold back on the chocolate chips. Every flavor feels distinct, and they don't hold back on the toppings!
My only tiny gripe is they can be a bit on the sweet side, but hey, that's what cheat days are for, right? I love that I can just grab one or two cookies and make them last a couple of days. Bonus points for the care they put into packaging, too--Jamie even mentioned the importance of the taped box, so you know your order is secure.
Pro tip: Keep an eye on their seasonal flavors--right now, they've got an Oreo Brownie Cheesecake that's a total win! They also have ice cream and milkshakes, which I'm definitely trying on my next visit. Perfect spot to grab a cookie after dinner or a movie.

Personally, I’m a big fan of the fancy cookie trend. It’s nice to be able to get one single cookie that’s very decadent without having to commit to a whole dozen (unless you want to, no shame!).
It seems like they add the toppings to order or at least throughout the day. This keeps the cookies fresh and the textures spot on.
On this first visit, my husband and I got a 4 pack with birthday cake, ave maria, s’more’s, & chocolate chip cookies. Everything was really fresh, the cookies were warm and had the perfect crisp edges with filling in the centers of some of the cookies. The s’mores was my favorite, it had so many delicious layers.
All of the employees were super friendly and though we had to wait a moment, the wait wasn’t bad. I also feel like it won’t be so crowded on normal days beyond the grand opening.
This is a great addition to the promenade and I can’t wait to visit again to try more...
Read more7.5-8 Ave Maria (Guava). Was surprisingly good. I was sure this would be dry but they stuffed it with white chocolate and Guava.
Got 12 cookies, all the chocolate cookies were overdone or something. They were beyond dry. 3/10 Smores dry, marshmellow bland with bad texture 3.5/10 Dirty Diana dry, just a ton of Nutella on top, wish there was another aspect to it 8.0 Brookie. Well balanced. Chocolate chip is present. 7.5 Cookie butter. Strong hit of ginger was cool. Like the inclusion of white choc chips 7.5 Birthday cake. The sprinkles kind of soften and get well incorporated. 6.5? Oreo Cheesecake. Need to retry. The savory aspect of the cheese threw me off. I took one more bite hours later and it seemed pretty well balanced. Got lost in the sea of sweetness when I tried all of them. 6.0 Chocolate Chip. Pretty basic. Soft. Maybe a bit too much chocolate honestly. Very sweet. 6.0? Red Velvet. Need to retry. The savory aspect of the cheese threw me off. 5.0? Cookies and Cream. Like a chocolate cookie with a dry Oreo topping? I don't...
