I had an very bad experience at store : 4401 Lyons Rd, Coconut Creek, FL 33073
I purchase some shoes order number instead of returning by mail , I went to the store to see if I could find something else .
I returned them and ask for the credit store on that order to be used on my future order. They said , you will get an email and you will need to repurchase.
I stated again, I want to use the credit , instead of putting my card again . A second person comes to help her, he said return and then you process again.
Then she says you will get an email and then we can purchase with a your new form of payment .
I ask her why didn’t she give me the store credit ? She says that’s not how it goes.
Now a 3rd person comes and help her .and tells me , we are sorry but at this point the transaction is already processs you willl need to pay again.
I ask why would I put another form of payment when DSW already has my $? Why is this happening, is it because the store needs to make sales ? The sales person needs to hit their numbers ?
I’m a customer and ask for a very specific request , it was denied .
I walk away without new shoes because , if makes me angry that they want to take advantage of people at all cost . I rather purchase online . This is one of the main reason stores keep closing , the lack of customer service .
I hope the store manager gets this email & start training their staff .

$75 I paid for a pair of shoes that didn’t fit correctly, in the store they were fine, but when I got ready for date night and started walking down the stairs in them this past weekend it was so painful! I called over the weekend and explained I had worn them for maybe a minute and was reassured that I could return them and get my money back. I have been shopping here for years and have NEVER faced such disrespect upon entering the store today. I waited in line for 10 minutes being ignored by the cashier. Then after stating I was returning she looked up my phone number and snatched the box out of my hand. She then looked at the bottom of the shoe and saw the slightly black piece on the ball of the shoe and threw them back into the box shoving it at me saying they’re worn we won’t resell them.
I attempted to explain the phone call I had where I stated they had been worn for a few minutes and she cut me off saying there was no point in them taking them back because no one else would buy them. She then gave me a smirk with a shrug. A rude “I’m sorry”. I stood there and started for a few seconds before walking out completely baffled.
Definitely won’t be coming here ever again. I am so repulsed by their customer service. And very disappointed in being told one thing, driving out 30 minutes to them be mocked and...

When they hadn't arrived in over a week, I phoned customer service, where I was told that they had been lost in transit and would not be arriving. I pointed out that I should have been informed of this, and was told that I could reorder the sandals at a discount with free shipping. Great, but when I was told the price, it was more than the sale price that I had paid originally. I was then given a few dollars off of the sale price, and told to expect the package in 4-7 days. It arrived today. They sent a pocketbook! Seriously, a pocketbook! I called customer service again, where I was told that if I wanted to cancel or reorder the sandals, I had to bring the pocketbook to a store to return it, and when that was done in3-4 days, I could get a refund for the sandals. I was also told to bring the original email I received when I placed the order. You know, for the pocketbook. The one I never ordered.
