I went here to find a perfume my mom likes to purchase for her as a gift. She knew the brand but didn't know which specific perfume she had tried. So I asked for a sample of 2 of the fragrances that I thought were close in line with her description of the fragrance so she could try them and let me know which one was the one she liked. They said they only give samples to people who make a purchase. Really?? I find this funny because a couple months before that I was given 2 samples of a different brand which I went on to purchase. So instead of getting her a large perfume for her gift I went somewhere else and got her a purse size trio set for her "samples". Giving them another chance, I came in again and was about to purchase a perfume and because I decided to walk it down to purse size the salesperson walked off and left me to take someone else's larger purchase. After seeing that I decided I no longer wanted to make a purchase. Now I'm a VERY heavy perfume buyer, I keep purse sizes on me at all times and the large bottles at home... and a loyal shopper... who went on to buy FIVE large perfumes elsewhere since this happened all because of their failing...
   Read moreI truly hate shopping, but the staff at this Macyâs is amazing. As my mom and I sat puzzling over our phones trying to find a product online, a wonderfully friendly and courteous staff member stopped and asked us if he could do anything to help. Thomas went out of his way to get us the information we were looking for and was so friendly, I actually found myself enjoying the shopping experience. Next, there was Sylvia. She was amazingly patient and willing to help look up items from her station. We were looking for a specific coat which didnât seem to be available anywhere.
Each time I thought our questions might begin the downward spiral of a frustrated and impatient clerk, I was pleasantly surprised to find Sylvia friendly and accommodating. She was truly fantastic, and on top of a stellar attitude, she was obviously good at her job. If I had room for either Sylvia or Thomas on my customer service team, I would be trying to steal them away from you.

   Read moreCalled to find out if they had a shoe in a size that I needed and was hung up on twice. Apparently the phone is not working to transfer to Finishline from the main shoe department. Finally spoke to someone and was told they had the shoes. Traveled to this location and I donât live close. Get there and went to pick up the shoes only to find that the associate is not there. I go to the main shoe department and told the associate what I needed and she acted as though I was bothering her. I told her no one was over there to help me. She tried to call the manager on duty and he/she didnât answer. She told me I would just have to back to Finishline and just wait for the associate to return since sheâs not able to reach the manager. He maybe in the break room. WHAT?? Itâs late, the store is closing soon and Iâm supposed to just wait. So rude and unprofessional. She didnât offer to try and locate another staff person to help or call someone else for help.
