DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Colonial Heights

I went to this Dick’s Sporting Goods and short pump two days ago and paid $130 for a pair of Airmax 90s. I took them home. They didn’t fit the person I bought them for I had misplaced the receipt but I thought that wouldn’t be that big of a deal since I used my credit card so I brought the shoes and my credit card statement to the Dick’s Sporting Goods on South Park and the young lady behind the counter proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t give me the full refund that they could only give me back $76 or something cause that’s what the thing scanned up as And there was nothing else they could do for me so I paid $130 for a pair of useless tennis shoes and they would not give me my money back which was fine really because I was just gonna exchange them so instead I paid another $130 for a pair of shoes so I guess I spent $260 for a pair of shoes because they wouldn’t give me my money back to the other pair oh, and an even better part of this is I had to buy the display last time because they didn’t have but one of the shoes so they gave me a display shoe and then wouldn’t need a refund my money when I had the credit card statement said Dick’s Sporting Goods $230 But I bought two pair shoes. I was upset I could tell I was upset she did not offer any help whatsoever just basically told me sorry for your luck. Have a nice day so I would never recommend anyone to go buy anything from there if you were known to accidentally lose things because if you lose your receipt, you’re screwed So I’ll never buy anything else from there ever again this was the first time or second time I guess but I’ve ever bought anything from there anyways, but that hockey stick that I was gonna order for Dick’s Sporting Goods sure ain’t happening now take my...

Today I had my first poor expierence at my local Dicks. I went in to purchase a archery target I had seen on line. They had plenty of different targets, all sizes and all types, plus there had both archery types and crossbow types and the combination ones. Lots of targets, but very few if any prices were posted or marked on them. I looked around for about 20 minutes until I found someone to help me and then even he could not find the prices and had to go get a little machine to check them. Well I lucked out an was helped by a young man named Hunter, he kept looking and checking trying to help me find the right one at the right price. Finally we found one that would work well, but could not get the price to come up on the machine. This did not bother Hunter, he picked up the heavy target and carried it to the cash register area and tried to check the price, the tag was to faded, so he had to go back and get another target tag so I could price and then purchase the item. The Hunter offered to carry it to my van for me and helped me load it. This is really outstanding since I am a disabled Vet in a wheelchair. This young man went to the limit to help me, your customer get what he needed without a single frown .This young man displayed the very character that makes your company great and a fabulous place to shop He and you should be commended for doing such a great job and always being there for a customer. I purchased an $800.00 Barnett Crossbow three weeks ago from Dick's Sporting Goods in Colonial Heights VA. When I took it out of the box the scope rail was not centered, it points to the left. The pamphlet in the box stated to contact Barnett directly as opposed to returning the item to the store. After repeated attempts to contact Barnett via phone, I was told they do not manufacture the bow any longer and could not understand why it was still being sold by retailers. I was then emailed a return label and asked to send the stock back to Barnett and they would look at it and determine the course of action. It's been over a week since Barnett received the stock and I have yet to hear from them nor can I get an email response or reach anyone at the customer service number they provided.
