Absolutely HORRIBLE experience at this store. I've literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars here in the past. Never returned a thing. I purchased a 3 piece suit online. Liked it, tried it on, felt it might not fit right, but also wanted to give it a chance, and avoid the hassle of Exchange. I wear size 54 Regular jackets and 44 waist pants, so that's what I ordered. I wore them ONCE to see if I could live with it, but decided I could not. I am SWIMMING in the jacket and the pants are uncomfortably tight.
I go into my store, thinking this will be quick and easy. Nope. The Store Manager REFUSES my exchange saying the original tags have to be on it. He didn't give me his name so I unfortunately have to rely on a physical description. Young, Middle Eastern in appearance and wearing glasses. I asked him how could I try out the clothing properly with tags on it. Yes, I tried them on WITH the tags and, like I said, was on the fence about them. The website says nothing about that in their Return Policy anyway. He also said they won't take the pants when they've been altered when I ORDERED them that way online and the website specifically says ONLINE ordered altered pants can be exchanged.
The Manager was smug and rude. His "solution" was for me to BUY A NEW SUIT FROM HIM. A very unpleasant young man with a Power Trip. He said everything was at the store's discretion so I asked him why he was CHOOSING to do this then. He said he wasn't. When I pointed out he literally was (that's what discretion is) he shut down and then just started shrugging his shoulders at everything. He lowered himself to essentially mocking me as I left the store with his little grin and "have a nice day." I've seen more professionalism out of a 16 year old at McDonald's. I wear suits everyday to work. I buy them fairly frequently. I will NEVER buy from Men's Warehouse again. This is absolutely ridiculous. I WANT the suit, I just WANT what fits. My mistake for ordering the same sizes all of my other clothes are in. Maybe the other stores are better employee-wise, but I'd recommend avoiding this location. My first experience ordering online was also (clearly) a disaster so I'd caution people from doing...
Read moreThird time writing this review because it was deleted for a second time. Which is unfortunate that after writing a review twice no one has reached out in an effort to amend my poor experience. Unacceptable customer service at this location. I purchased suits for my wedding party at my local store in NC and had two shipped to this particular location for two of my groomsmen. Initially, this store misplaced the suits and caused a 6-8 week delay in my groomsmen being able to go get fitted for them. Then, once the new suits arrived they told me not only did they not have the inventory to fulfill the sizes for one of my groomsmen in their store, but conducted a nationwide search in their system and still was unable to accommodate the particular size. The gentleman I spoke to insisted there was nothing they could do and that I should pursue a similar suit or search for the suit elsewhere. So as a retailer that is supposed to specialize in suits for weddings, not only did they mishandle the product and cause delays, but also could not promise a product after it was ALREADY paid for months ago. This is all a little over two months prior to my wedding day. Following the conversation, my to-be bride started searching other stores for the particular suit jacket size and located one WITHIN their system at a different store near her parents in D.C. This is totally unacceptable customer service and a concrete example of indolence. The most frustrating part is the fact that the end point for them was there was nothing that they could do and weren't willing to do whatever it took to correct the mistake on their part. So they put I, the consumer in a difficult position to correct the mistake in a short timeframe related to their inability to deliver the product purchased. I would never recommend anyone to purchase suits for their wedding through this company. What I anticipated to be a smooth and seamless process has turned into a complete and...
Read moreOut of the 4years we have gone to Men's Wearhouse for prom suits, I've never had the experience I had tonight. Brandy's attitude and demeanor was horrific. I do not ever remember having to deal with her, and I hope I never have to again. We got there at 8pm to pick up my sons tux. Understandably, it was a little busy. We had no problem waiting. We were even walking around looking at different suits and such. Her 1st mistake was yelling for us, with an attitude because we didn't hear her the 1st time, across the store. Then she proceeds to put my son in a dressing room, and never comes back after he put everything on. He stood outside his door, dressed for a good 10 minutes before I walked over and put his jacket on to make sure everything fit. Cool, he liked it, it fit, it looked good. I took his jacket off and hung it back on his hanger. After putting his street clothes back on he stands there again waiting for assistance. We aren't sure what goes where, so I try and figure it out myself. Because again, we were left hanging while she's storming around the store giving everyone else her attitude as well. (Many patrons spoke on her foul attitude) Finally I look at another girl, and ask her for some help. She proceeded to tell me to leave it in the dressing room and she will get it in a moment. I told her "no, i want the suit put back together, no one has helped us, i am done and ready to leave. The suit is coming with us". She was very apologetic after realizing what had just happened. I don't know that I'll ever go back to this store after being treated so rudely. You're in CUSTOMER SERVICE, better smile, grin and do it professionally no matter what circumstance is going on. Because you gave that store a bad taste...
