Wish I could give more than 1 star because Renada did hear us out and ultimately fixed the issue but the experience I had with Chris (could be wrong name but he's the one with the silly ponytail sitting atop his head). Came to pick up my son's suit and from the beginning he cut me off acted as if all the questions I asked were not in order with his "process". My son tried on the pants and they were almost 6 inches too long (yes he was measured at first appt) irritated Chris took the pants to be hemmed. After about 25 minutes he brought them out I could visibly see a thick hem from the outside of the pant on my son's shin. I wanted him to also try the shoes on with pants to ensure the fit was correct but he dismissed my request and told my son he will not be trying on the shoes with the pants because he had already nicely packed his shoes up. I explained to him that this was my son's first prom and visually the pants looked unacceptable. He was extremely irritated and proceeded to tell me he's been doing this for years and the hem he did was just a quick 10 minute hem but I could come back in 30 minutes and he'd fix it. At this point I was frustrated so I called my husband to come handle it (he has the patience of a Saint) within 2 minutes my husband messaged me to tell me that he he was treated rudely after requesting my son to try everything on before leaving to ensure correct fit. My husband introduced himself and asked his name, Chris refused to give him his name and instead told him he could call him whatever he wanted. My husband again asked his name and he told him "call me whatever you want I'm just an hourly worker." My husband again asked him his name and Chris ignored him. My husband at that point told him he feels like he's being ignored and didn't understand his lack of customer service. After the suit was bagged we went to Renada and advised her of the experience. While we were at the counter Chris walked up and proceeded to ask my son if he has a job, my son told him he did and Chris asked him where. Luckily my son was smart enough to NOT provide the name of his work. The entire experience was honestly a bummer and took almost 2 hours of our day. First prom experience is equally exciting for the parent and child and I get that Chris does this job everyday but this is my son's first Prom. Everyone else was super friendly and kind. Will avoid Chris for...
Read moreSuit looks amazing. Good material and tailoring, customer service needs a little work. This suit was purchased as a gift for me so my family and I went in for the fitting. We were helped immediately by 3 people, it was a great experience. They explained that the first tailoring had to be paid for but any adjustments later would be free. This is a great selling point because I was young and obviously would need it adjusted as I aged. Now when I came in just about two years later to get the suit retailored. It felt like I was being interrogated. Before being helped I was asked four times if it had been done before. I felt belittled. The tailor looked at me in the suit for less than a minute, drew some lines and was gone. While I was there they opened the suit to see the stitches were tailored and not factory. They informed me I wouldn't be charged and would have it done by a certain date. I was very worried about the quality because of how fast they eye balled the corrections. I asked if I would receive a call when it was done and they stated an email would be sent on completion. Fast forward four weeks and I received nothing. It was two days past my guarenteed finished by date so I went in to check on it. Thankfully it was completed and fit wonderfully. The gentleman that helped me was polite and knowledgeable. Once we went up to get it bagged however he made it sound like I was going to have to pay. Of course we were confused and explained what we were told two years ago and recently. He then explained that its actually not free tailoring unless they have altered that section before. ie. If you shorten the arms and tighten the waist on first tailoring. The next time you bring it in those particular sections would be free, but if you wanted to do anything else it would have to be paid for. As long as it fits within the restriction of the clothing item. This was very poorly explained when we first got the suit. Ontop of that their system only remembers corrections two years back. The tailors can apparently tell the difference from factory and tailored stitching, but this seems like it could cause issues. In the end the gentleman checked and said that what they corrected had already been altered so it was free. I cant help but feel like this tricks a lot of people. The experience overall was not great and I'd avoid...
Read moreLast May I visited this location and the man assisting us left while my son was in the dressing room. I watched him gather his belongings and walk outside where his teenage friend was waiting for him. I was livid and we departed and went straight to Briargate. Later that night,, I did inform the female manager and she said sheâs had constant complaints about this sales associate.
I did not want to support a sister company to Menâs Warehouse, but we were limited and had a nice experience at Joseph A Banks.
I swore Iâd never go to this store againâŚ.and then that awful store name was brought up. Tonight, after my sonâs basketball practice, he asked if we could stop by Menâs Warehouse to finalize his accessories shopping for homecoming. I tried to keep a positive attitude and agreed. I asked my husband to meet me there and start shopping and Iâd be there shortly. Once I arrived, my husband was pulling clothes for my son and picking out accessories for him to try on. I started to assist. After an hour, I asked my husband if the two sales associates had helped him and he said no, theyâve yet to acknowledge us. The only customers were my family and a husband and wife. Livid, again, I sent my husband on his way and assisted my son. Meanwhile I listened to one of the associates talking to the man and woman (only other customers) while he sat comfortably at a desk. He was talking about his eating regimens and how heâd like to get to ketosis so he could lose his belly weight. This conversation went on for what felt like forever. I know all about his weight loss journey. The other gentleman that appeared to be the store manager never acknowledged us until it seemed to be uncomfortable for him because he literally bumped into us. I had to force him to help us and he made it very well known that he was being put out. My son decided shoes, socks and a belt werenât enough and added clothes to the pile. The pants were clearly too long and required alterations. I had to inquire about alterations, and he found every excuse as to why they were not needed. Tomorrow, I will return each and every product I purchased and will only support the high end suit shops in the springs. Iâd rather pay hundreds of dollars more for better service. Menâs Warehouse is a constant...
