
We walk in, we shop around for at least 30 minutes, spoke to a couple employees and made our way to check out. We get to the register and the cashier asks if Iād be willing to put a āstandardā mask on because mine is mesh. I tell her I canāt wear one for health reasons. She becomes a little frazzled and pages another employee to come check me out, explaining she has a condition herself. Mind you, the lady who checked out directly in front of us had her mask underneath her chin, was with the same cashier thatās now telling me that she canāt because my mask is mesh. Yet Iām wearing it correctly. Another employee comes, but instead of ringing up my purchase, he proceeds to tell me that the store policy is āthey donāt allow mesh masksā. Itās not posted anywhere. (Nor is it online, I havenāt been able to find it anywhere.) This employee then calls over a security guard, who also tells me of this unspoken policy. In the end, I walk out empty-handed because they refuse to sell to someone wearing a āmeshā mask. If youāre going to enforce a policy, post it. More importantly, enforce it with everyone, not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām shopping and going through the racks. A worker is placing items back on the racks and has rolling rack blocking the way. I try to move around it but she stops me and says sheās working the area and insinuates I should go around. She continues to work and further blocks our way through. Wow, Nordstroms rack else where have always had amazing customer service. Never have I had to be told in such a aggravated tone that Iām not allowed to pass. It would of taken her a second to roll the rack to the side to allow me to continue shopping. It must be that the employeeās here are forgetting what customer service truly is and may need a refresher course. This Nordstroms rack needs to be evaluated. Somethings not right there.
Update: Iāve had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Tim. He immediately addressed the issue and sincerely showed concern over the actions of his employees. He gave genuine apology. Iāve since been to the store to shop, and overall had a good experience. I hope under the new management this store will continue to make...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was looking for shoes here, and there was no one to be found to help me in the 45 minutes I was there. I needed to run so I wouldnāt be late to pick up kiddos, so I asked if the cashier could hold some pairs of shoes for an hour. She said they donāt normally do that, but, perhaps because I couldnāt find a staff member to help me, she would hold them. When I realized I was going to be a little later than originally anticipated, I called to request they hold it for about ten minutes longer, and the person I spoke with said that wouldnāt be a problem. I was in line briefly, and helped immediately. I asked about other sizes of one of the shoes, which the cashier checked on for me. Unfortunately, they did not have the sizes I needed for that particular shoe, and donāt order it for customers like some department stores do, but once I was able to obtain assistance, the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The reason for three stars is due to the latter cancelling...
