As someone who is Asian, grew up eating AUTHENTIC asian foods, and even lived in Asia for awhile this is by far the WORST asian food restaurant I have ever been to. First off… how does one even mess up fried rice? It’s one of the easiest dishes and I have never had bad fried rice until now. Secondly do NOT get the “authentic” thai spice. I’m not sure if they even understand what authentic means, but nothing about it was authentic. As someone who can handle asian spice pretty well, I was shocked when my pineapple fried rice was as spicy as a x2 buldak packet. The spice was so strong, the only things you could almost taste were the chicken and pineapple in the entire dish. Otherwise it just tasted of spice and not even flavorful spice either but the type that would give most people heartburn. For those who have tried the “authentic” thai spice, please be aware thai food is usually NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL. The waiter also somehow got my order completely wrong when I was very clear when I first ordered that I wanted the bacon pineapple fried rice but substitute the bacon with chicken… ended up getting just normal fried rice without pineapple. The waiter tried to switch the blame on me but I’m pretty sure that order should have been clear in the first place and I’d be less annoyed if he hadn’t tried to blame me. The only good service was the guy working at the bar who brought us to our table was sweet.
Regardless if you want asian food, go literally anywhere else. It wasn’t even decent and extremely overpriced for being the blandest “asian” food I’ve had. Once again… how does a place mess up fried rice? 😂
Also I find it really strange that on their official instagram they happen to be following two adult content accounts. Very unprofessional....
Read moreAs of today, I will never again visit Bangkok Gardens or send any friends or families business there.
A friend and I attempted to eat here today and was turned away. Not only were we turned away, I was discriminated against and embarrassed. We entered the front door and was told immediately to put on a mask. Not a big deal at all, so my friend put theirs on. I am medically exempt by not only Columbia's city ordinance, that ended yesterday, but I am exempt by Veterans Affairs due to medically disabilities I gained while serving in Iraq.
I informed the hosts of my medical exemption in which they replied that it did not matter, I still needed to put on a mask. The bar tended then came over and told me the same thing. I once again informed them that I was medically exempt by the city and by the VA. The bar tended told me that "His mother is on oxygen and still wears a mask so I need to also." I said I was exempt due to my service over seas. This is when the hosts told me something similar and that I must wear a mask or I need to leave.
Not only did they discriminate against a veteran, they violated federal law by questioning my medical exemption and my disability. This was not only extremely embarrassing, but extremely angering. Never have I been so humiliated here in Columbia by one of its establishments.
This makes me sad because Bangkok was one of my favorite places to visit here in Columbia. I ordered out during the pandemic in order to help support it during hard times and when I had family/friends visit before the pandemic I always took them here due to the excellent service and food. This is no longer the case apparently. I hope the staff can be trained better before someone less reasonable than...

As Thanos, the Mad Titan, I have conquered galaxies and brought civilizations to their knees with a snap of my fingers. However, even I was not prepared for the disappointment that awaited me at Bangkok Garden.
Upon entering, I was greeted by an atmosphere devoid of any semblance of cosmic majesty. The décor was lackluster, reminiscent of a forgotten outpost on the edge of the universe. The ambiance lacked the vibrant energy one would expect from a place named after a bustling metropolis.
The menu offered a lackluster selection of Thai cuisine, each dish a pale imitation of its namesake. The flavors were uninspired, leaving my mighty palate yearning for the taste of victory rather than the bland offerings before me.
But the true betrayal came when it was time to settle the bill. As a Marvel character, I am accustomed to wielding power and influence, yet the owner of Bangkok Garden saw fit to deceive me. Despite my contributions to the universe, they dared to shortchange me on my paycheck, a grievous offense that even the Infinity Stones could not rectify.
In conclusion, Bangkok Garden is a restaurant worthy of oblivion. Its lackluster cuisine and deceitful practices leave much to be desired, even by the standards of a cosmic conqueror. Thanos may be merciful in his conquests, but he finds no mercy for establishments that fail to meet even the lowest of...
