I’m not gonna lie I kind of felt like the workers are lowkey racist or they’re extremely specific on who they think should shop at this store. They didn’t say anything to us or greet us and we were right in front of them. But when a skinny blonde white girl and her mom entered the store they were like hi can we help you find anything. I don’t know if it was intentional or yall think I don’t fit the profile you’re selling to. Whatever it is, yall come off as exclusive. Was willing to pay $64 for a overpriced sweater but nah after I saw that I just walked out. Also my husband also told me that when I was looking at the sweater I was thinking of buying one of the ladies run up to the front pretending to adjust clothes. What makes me look like a thief, me being Mexican and not white? Anyways, like I said they need to work on how they make people feel. I walked in totally in AWE of Everything, how the store was set up with some of the clothes, signs with beautiful wording, the smell! Some items were priced affordably but there were quite a bit that was on upper end which I know for higher quality is normal. I had never heard of or been in this store before so not sure if it is more of a boutique store. It was in the Mall in Columbia but was told they are a chain hoping to expand since I'm from Charleston area and they aren't located there. I could not resist and did buy one of their Signature fragrances of Love Spell as I believe they have 3 others and it might be that they're Seasonal. I loved the store but a lot of items were rather pricey. I do hope they open a store here. I do plan to buy from them again. Their jewelry was nice and most of it was priced...

Went inside of Altar’d State on Veteran’s Day to quickly look around. I was not the only person in the store, but I was the only African American. The two female sales associates seemed to oddly focus their attention on me. They made me feel uncomfortable. Even though I was in the store less than 10 minutes, I was asked three times by them if I needed help. As I was leaving, I turned around and BOTH of the sales associates were standing several feet away from me looking at me. There were other people in the store, but BOTH of them had their attention focused on me.
