Edit on 9/7/2020 - IF YOU ARE DISABLED AVOID WINANS! THEY REFUSE TO ACCOMMODATE YOU! Winans is NOT accommodating to people with disabilities. I came in to buy a coffee and I told the staff I cannot wear a mask per my physicians order and they refused to accommodate me. People with disabilities avoid this location! The staff will refuse to accommodate you. This is unfortunate because I used to come here often when downtown. I will take my business to Stauff's now. My initial review is posted down below. But please again, IF YOU ARE DISABLED AVOID WINANS! THEY REFUSE TO ACCOMMODATE YOU! -----‐-----‐-----‐-----‐-----‐-----‐-----‐-----‐-----‐ My initial review prior to the incident- I love Winan's! ☕🍫
The Java Jolt frozen coffee is amazing and I switch between that and the seasonal iced coffees. I like to get the gummy bears and they have these little car shaped chocolates for kids and they are wrapped in foil with police cars, taxis, fire trucks etc and my kids love them. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because you guy advertise on the Google Pay app that you accept it as a payment method but when I went in yesterday to buy a coffee it wouldn't work. I had forgotten my credit card at home so I had to go over to my bank a few businesses away and I almost left to take my business elsewhere because of the issue. But with that being said the employee working yesterday was so nice, kind, and helpful and we had a really nice conversation while she made my coffee. I would be happy to change my review to 5 stars once the mobile pay features...

Read moreWe decided to visit Winans on Saturday. We have a few winans in there area we are from so we expected good service and good drinks. That was not the case. I dont usually make reviews because its a waste of time. But the service and coffee was so bad i have to. Look at the people who gave good reviews if your not in the complexion range i suggest you go to one of the other coffee shops in the area so you can be treated like a human. We had frappes and they purposefully made our drink so terrible we couldn't even drink them and did not add the things we asked. Which is ok because we went some where else and they were wonderful. We werent disrespectful or rude so to be treated like that was appalling. The worst coffee i have ever had in my life hands down. Its 2021 we are black we are here we are affluent get over it. Not the winans we know and love. So definitely not a review on the company as whole just this...
