4 stars because the selection is pretty good, prices are a little high but to be expected when they are buying the clothes instead of receiving donations (some thrift stores are trying to price like this with stuff they received for free and it infuriates me lol) that being said, trying to sell here was a horrible experience. I had a Michael Khors purse, very clean and they wouldn’t buy it for some teeny tiny mark that like I didn’t even realize was there (and I’m sure no customer would have picked it up and said oh no won’t buy that!) but I knew before I even handed it to them that were going to say no lol they were busy and just had an attitude that said “don’t even waste your time, we ain’t gonna buy whatever it is” same experience with clothes/jeans another time. I think maybe they bought one thing and it was like so weird and random and the only thing I DIDN’T think they’d want lol. I get that’s probably the worst part of the job, going through clothes but they could idk put a sign out saying hey we aren’t buying much right now but give it a shot! Or we are looking for these VERY specific items:…so please don’t be offended if we don’t buy your items at this time, maybe try another time. Yall could even post on your website or Facebook like specifically what your looking for, and post it OFTEN and “winter apparel” really doesn’t cover it lol idk might help keep people less offended/angry when none of their items are purchased. Direct them to your Facebook for the next time so they might come back with stuff...
Read moreI have never had a positive experience here as far as customer service! There basically is none. No greeting, assisting, smiling… just “clerking” if you’re lucky. They act like they are doing you a favor to help you. Today topped the cake for me. I got there around 3:30pm, having no idea they closed at 4:00pm on Sundays. Which really surprised me on THIS Sunday being tax free/back to school/you sent me 10 emails and texts weekend!? I was a destination shopper, knew exactly what I was looking for and was ready to head to the fitting room when I heard someone rudely holler “WE CLOSE IN 15 MINUTES! BRING YOUR ITEMS TO THE FRONT!” I looked at my phone to see it was 3:40pm. I thought, oh well, I still have 20 mins to try and buy. NOPE! On my way to the fitting room I heard the girl tell another guest that the fitting rooms were closed! 😳 I challenged her asking, “Is this a corporate directive or just the store management decision?” She didn’t answer. There was a whole crowd of people waiting to try things on. I put my stuff back and left I saw others do the same. In a world where especially now customer service is your only edge over the competition, how unfortunate to let business walk out the door. Shame on you, you need to go back to basics! Treat people the way you would like to be treated and say hello for...
Read moreDO NOT BE FOOLED, they’re no better than Plato’s closet. First off from the perspective of selling your clothes: You should honestly just sell used stuff on Facebook or another selling app. They will only give you 1/3 of what they can sell the item for. So you can definitely make more than even what they’re making on your items. I brought in a couple pairs of lightly worn Yeezys and it was a joke what they would give me. I also brought in a lot of name brand stuff, like two containers full, and they took 8 items and gave me $23.
The perspective of someone buying clothes from their store: If you are trying to look like your 18-20, then this is your go to place. If you’re not, you’d have better luck just buying new clothes. I looked thru the store and the sizes are mostly for small people, the selection is very odd.
Customer service: TRASH I don’t even care if I was greeted coming in, if I ask for someone to help me, I 100% expect help from someone. I had two containers full of clothes, shoes, and a baby. When I asked how they priced the Yeezys, she couldn’t give me a straight answer. I could tell she didn’t really want to tell me because she was probs clueless.
The only reason they get a review and 1 star is because they will donate your...
