MAC at Macy's Polaris — Local services in Columbus

Typically, i have a great experience at MAC. I'm usually assisted by either Alison or Angie. Both women are amazing and i never leave disappointed as long as they're there. Recently MAC decided to get of the only foundation that's ever worked for me...Mineralize, used it for over 10 years. Sadly, i went into the store and the manager, Mary, was the worse experience I've ever had at any MAC store ever in life. She decided to only focus on the only other customer there and left me to myself. She asked me if i could come back in 15 min. Came back later, she still wouldn't help me because she was too busy with the same lady. I tried the foundations myself to kill time. Thought i found a match but sadly, Mary still wouldn't help me. I decided to leave, she apologized and said she'd have my foundation ready for me the next morning. I came back a few days later while she wasn't there and purchased what I thought was correct, i even told the girl helping me that i had tried it on and thought it was good to go... this foundation is terrible...

Had a horrible experience. Brought a friend and father whose culture shows respect by not looking (someone older than you) in the eyes.) A sales associate cane over to ask if we needed any help. We asked about foundation color. While the lady kept asking questions my friend replied by looking down. Well the lady said in an rude tone“Hello I’m over here, I’m talking to you.” I explained to her it’s a sign of showing respect.My friend was so embarrassed that we left. I understanding that it might be different for people to not look you in the eyes while talking. But not in a rude manner. I don’t know if the sales associate was having a bad day. But doesn’t make it okay to talk to my friend in that manner. Next day, I convinced my friend to go to the store again bc she really wanted foundation, same sales associate and same attitude. Never had any problems before with the employees but didn’t see a name tag to complain. Guess we will avoid...

Do not go here to have a “full” makeup application. I booked my daughter an appointment for her prom, they were aware of the occasion. My daughter walked out of there without her eyebrows shaped / filled, no mascara or eyelashes , foundation wasn’t matched correctly, was streaky and very bright blush all over, unblended. She attempted a wing eyeliner but looked horrible even after receiving help from another “artist” , smeared makeup from not being able to shape her eyebrows correctly after I asked her to take it off because it was so bad. After 1 1/2 hrs there and a horrible application, they made us purchase $80 in products and we still had to go home and fix everything. It’s gone downhill lately as they used to do a great job.
