IF I COULD GIVE THE STAFF AND HOTEL MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD!!!! My family and I are currently in between houses so we needed a place to stay that would accommodate our family we stayed at the WORTHINGTON location for awhile which was ok but rooms were small and the manager their was not nice or welcoming so we moved to the POLARIS location and I am sooooo happy we did there’s so much room and lots of storage to put our stuff they have a dishwasher which if your a mom you know is a great relief lol, the rooms are very nice and very clean and the bathtub is quite big it’s a soaking bathtub great for bubble baths!!!! From the day we arrived the young lady Alicia at the front desk greated us with a smile and friendly face, she was so helpful didn’t seem bothered by all of our questions was happy answer everything we asked and anytime I go to the desk she’s always right there I never have to wait!!! Every day and I mean EVERYDAY!!! The staff always has a smile on their face they never look like they don’t want to be at their job they actually look like they enjoy what they do!!! Which is a probably bc they have a great manager by the name of Mel, you will see her running around working just as hard as everyone else and no matter what she’s doing if you walk by she acknowledges you and greets you with a smile and a hello and always asks how you’re stay is and if you need anything!!! Actually everyone that works here will stop what their doing to greet you always with a smile and always a happy tone and ask if you need anything!!! It’s 5 star customer service which is refreshing bc most places the customer service is lackluster!!! We had an issue with our tv and its was the end of the maintenance guy joes shift but right away Mel let him know and he came right up to replace the tv with a better model and even though it was the end of his shift he was so friendly and didn’t seem to mind he was stopped on his way out to fix something else for the day which was greatly appreciated!!! Even when I spilled my coffee on the floor and went to the front desk to ask for towels to clean I up Randy right away was like no worries she wasn’t upset or bothered at all and I’m pretty sure she just clocked in to her shift which isn’t the most enjoyable thing to have to do as soon as you walk into work but she wouldn’t let me clean it up she insisted she would do it and she constantly had a smile on her face and was so sweet and anytime I’ve asked her for help or if she could get me something like there wasn’t any apple cinnamon oatmeal out in the breakfast room? And I asked her if she had any in the back and right away she’s like absolutely Some Anytime you see her she stops and greet you ask her You need anything? She’s always working so hard, but Even then, she always has a smile on her face. She’s always happy, and she always acknowledges you and greet you Just like everyone else here!!!! Even on the night shift The lady Stacy Always so sweet so friendly even though she’s probably super busy doing tons of laundry She never seems bothered to help you, or even just to give you a little bit of conversation Always smiles You don’t have to wait to the desk for a long period of time!!! I have to say the staff is amazing I have never seen them Not have a smile on face not be friendly, not greet somebody they make you feel so welcome and at home such a pleasant experience, I would stay here forever...
Read moreExtended Stay America Hotel My recent stay at the America Extended Stay Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining options. The booking process was straightforward, and the online rate was very reasonable. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful desk clerk who made the check-in process smooth and efficient. The lobby was clean and inviting, setting a positive tone for my stay. My corner room on the third floor was spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen area, equipped with a full-size refrigerator and microwave, was incredibly convenient for storing leftovers and preparing simple meals. The desk area provided a comfortable workspace, and the queen-size bed was comfortable and inviting. I particularly appreciated the ability to open the windows to enjoy fresh air, which is a rare amenity in many hotels. The staff at the America Extended Stay Hotel was consistently friendly and accommodating. When I requested an extra pillow, they promptly fulfilled my request. Additionally, when I accidentally locked my key card inside the room, they assisted me in retrieving it without any fuss. One of the standout features of the hotel was its pet-friendly policy. Guests with pets were allowed to bring their furry friends along, and there was a designated pet area for outdoor relief. This was a great perk for those traveling with their animals. Another pleasant surprise was the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel. Although it was a basic selection of muffins, snack bars, oatmeal, coffee, and tea, it was a convenient and satisfying way to start the day. While my overall experience was positive, there were a few minor drawbacks. The hotel's pool was either closed for good or for the season, which was a bit disappointing as it was advertised online. Additionally, the coin laundry room was not accessible to guests, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. However, these were minor inconveniences that did not significantly impact my stay. In conclusion, the America Extended Stay Hotel offered a comfortable and affordable stay. The convenient location, clean facilities, and friendly staff made it a great choice for my trip. While there were a few minor issues, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly...
Read moreDont bother trying to check in at 1 am, its not on their list of service items to support you at that time. I stay in a lot of hotels and I would say the service was the worst I have ever experienced. If I could give a negative star I would . Both the young lady at 1 am and the woman I spoke to the next day were un-supportive and felt I had no right to be disappointed with my stay, both felt it should be perfectly normal and not their fault that they could not check me in upon my arrival after a lengthy drive, I mean, why would I not want to wait for another forty five minutes before I get a room when I am dead tired and just want to sleep. That is the point if making a reservation. And yes, people aren't going to be happy when one can't check in at 1 AM and even if it's not your fault don't berate me for being upset. Your in the service industry, no people aren't going to give you a pass when you provide sub par service. Terrible. Dear leadership at extended stay...its 2019, fix your system. No one should wait for a room at 1 in the morning, especially when I had already paid...dear young lady at the front desk, I don't care that its not your fault, it's clearly not my fault, but it is my mistake for staying there and I wont make that one again.
Ummm, wait a minute Extended stay management, your not taking any responsibility here. You mention nothing about adjusting your procedures to make it possible for people to check in at 1 AM. To be clear, it's your process that is the issue. Yes I felt the service could have been handled differently, but people stay at hotels because they are traveling and no you don't always get to check in at a reasonable hour. that is precisely the point of a hotel.
You said you would speak with your service team, but i think you should start with a review or at least make every reservation aware that there are hours you won't accept people into their rooms because you have a faulty and antiquated system.
this is more than I have written on a review ever, please take note of just how frustrating it is that I have to go back and update...
