I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on January 29, and I regret to say that my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the hotel being advertised as having a secured parking area, my vehicle, a 2024 Land Rover, was broken into, along with others, resulting in the theft of valuable items, including a firearm and cash deposits from my vending business. I had left some valuable items in the console, as I was under the impression that this was a safe area that I was familiar with. Unfortunately, the break-in style was such that the alarm on my vehicle never triggered, which was incredibly frustrating.
Upon arrival, there were signs advising guests to remove personal property from their vehicles, which was only pointed out after the break-in occurred. Additionally, I was instructed to park in a specific area, but no further explanation was provided. I complied with this suggestion, but after spending a total of seven hours on the premises, I was dismayed to find that there was no visible security presence, especially given the known issues with vehicle break-ins. They won’t tell you that.
As a traveler from out of town who had booked a total of four rooms for business purposes, this experience has left me feeling quite uneasy. I had to drive three hours home without a window, as it had to be ordered from Tennessee, adding to the already stressful situation. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here unless they're willing to risk having their vehicle broken into, including at other nearby hotels. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to others without significant improvements in security and assurance for guests. It was a frustrating and disappointing stay, and I will not be returning in the future.
It would be great if they would take care of this expense to cover the damages of this incident which occurred on their property. It’s the only way to remedy this situation at this point. Though it’s not their fault, it’s disappointing to know that they have been aware and failed to address security needs. This is a multimillion if not billion dollar...
Read moreI want To start by saying the ONLY reason i gave Two stars is because Ashley at the front desk was an absolute angel & did her best to fix everything that went completely wrong while trying to use this hotel for a wedding block. We worked with Karla from the very beginning who is supposed to be the sales manager. She told us all these things were going to be included in our stay that we ended up having to pay for. One of these things being the bar, she told me to tell her a month in advance if we would like the bar open for after our wedding, which i did & then the week of she told me i had to pay to staff her bar? The wedding block link that guest were supposed to use to get the special pricing stopped working so my guests had to call to book their rooms. ( no problem right?) until they wouldn’t give people the correct price over the phone either. It was a complete disaster! I could Never get ahold of Karla in a timely manner as she wouldn’t respond to me for weeks until we threatened to take the hotel block to a different hotel. All of my guests were supposed to get breakfast vouchers & half the people ended up paying for their breakfast because the front desk didn’t give them to people. My husband & i were Supposed to get our room for free because so many people from our party booked rooms & come to find out they charged his card $236 and we had to call multiple times before it was fixed. I cannot say enough, if you’re looking to book for a hotel block, DO NOT DO IT HERE. Karla completely dropped the ball & was extremely frustrating to work with. I will Never come back to this hotel & tell everyone i...
Read moreThis hotel is no better than a red roof inn and just a Lil bit better with a few nicer things. But after finding bed bugs in my room and a breakfast buffet they are charging 16 dollars for that consist of runny un mixed oatmeal ,bacon, sausage, cold potatoes , coffee,3 cereal choices, some dried out t Bread ,bagels no need to toast them , powdered eggs, no plates or bowls like we are eating at a prison mess hall, and back to the bed bug situation they didn't really do anything for me. Just move to next to room I was in and I felt so uncomfortable I just stayed up and sat in the desk chair because it had no fabric on it. They also said you can put your things in this trash bag that I should go to store a get bombs to bomb the car and my things. I see that hilton has fallen so far they no longer offer a view from the top. Who they have inspecting or cleaning g there rooms need maybe follow up or check behind them . Especially your pest control because now after a horrible experience I have to worry about going home with my belongings that are contaminated like myself and possibly my car. Everything starting to appear to have seen better days patio furniture broken taterted. Night staff is very helpful and so kind shout out to Sarah you a Lil beacon of light in a really dark situation. Rest staff could care less.
