Right around a year ago I purchased a beautiful sterling silver necklace at this store. I paid a premium retail price because she said she stood behind the workmanship and wieight. Fast forward now I need to sell my silver that piece and another one worth even more actually right by Graham weight not to mention the fact that they are beautiful design of pieces. She wanted to offer me $10 each. They both was well over $75 each The beautiful pure sterling silver 925 marked. I told her that I had paid over 40 for the necklace that I bought from her and if she couldn't give me back at least 3/4 of that and she wasn't standing by her product normally she's standing by her customers cuz now that's a spit in my face as a customer who spent money with her. But she wasn't willing to budge. As a jeweler in our community their integrity I should go before them I would not want to purchase anything value from anyone who wouldn't stand behind it a year and a half later a year later 5 minutes later she wants to give me $10 for something that I paid over 44 from her? That is not good business if I were you honestly other guys have more reputable jewelry there's lots of good reputable jewels around who will give you back your money plus anything that it might have appreciated even up to 5 or 10 years later you going to sell me a piece of jewelry you need to stand by it you need to stand up by your community and you need to stand by your citizens who come in and spend their heart under money with you Don't spit in my face. That is absurd. Run don't walk to your nearest reputable jeweler because this...
Read moreI took my engagement ring there awhile back to get sized.. The lady working the counter asked me if i was still able to return it so i could come buy one of thier rings.. I thought that in itself was extremely inappropriate and rude to tell a newly engaged couple but i looked past it and just said "no i really love this one and need it sized" they resize it and maybe 6 months later the bridge they added to make it bigger falls off leaving a huge open gap in my ring.. My father takes it back fot me and tells them what happened and that we need it fixed seeing as tho it should have lasted much longer than that for the $100 i payed originally.. They take it call us when its ready and when we received it back they did not add the bridge back they just welded the cap closed making the ring to small again! I go back for a 3rd time now and explain everything and say i need my ring fixed.. They lady they take it make me pay $20 to fix thier mistake.. I ask about having my wedding band resized while i was there as well they declined with no reason as to why (i just took it to another jewelery shop that did it with no issues).. I get my engagement ring back AGAIN for a 3rd time and its ruined.. A couple weeks before my wedding the band is turned black somehow you can see the harsh welding lines on the bridge the rose gold is faded .. Its just a huge mess that can not be fixed.. My heart is broken with how my engagement ring turned out after all this mess and...
Read moreI’m leaving a 2 star review for the simple fact that my boyfriend was treated rudely by the man that works there. A total disregard for our time. We have never been to Main Jewelers before and wanted to shop for rings and started there. We arrived around 1pm to find a sign on the door apologizing that they will be closed until 2 pm. Which is understandable, things happen. We left came back just at 2pm. A man I assumed worked there plainly said we’re not opened until the owner gets there. My boyfriend simply asked do you know how long it will be? Which he responds “ I can’t control the owner”. My boyfriend says I’m just asking so we know how long we should wait. He responds with, she had appointments to go to and he can’t help us because there needs to be 2 people in the shop. Again not our problem we went there to shop for jewelry and followed the hours they had posted on their door. If anything he could have called and found out how long it would be so we weren’t just sitting in a parking lot waiting for someone to open a business during the hours they say they’re open. We decided this may not be the right place to spend our money if they can’t respect customers so we will...
