Read moreOne star is too generous. The employees have no care in the world, or respect for customers. When your job is customer service, but they don't show an ounce of it. I get there before they open and wait in my car. At 1030 which is posted hours on the front door and the web, the doors were still locked. About 1032 I see a man sitting in the dining area and what looks like the manager who looked at me as I'm standing there staring waiting for the door to open. She continues to set down the chairs off the tables and slowly makes her way to the door about 1035. Ok no biggie you want to open late. That's fine. So I walk in to order. The man that was sitting in the dining area was an employee who wasn't ready. Putting on his apron, just taking his time. Ok sure, do what you gotta do. No body had on a name tag so I couldn't tell you who they are I could tell you what they look like. The lady I assume is the manager is a short blonde gal and the man was tall with brown hair. Anyway, I am waiting to order and I notice there were some empty slots where food normally is, so some of their options weren't available and the chicken was charred on some sides of it. Which sucks because I always get their chicken protein bowl and I absolutely love it. So I opted for pork this time which was very good by the way. However I will not be going back and I strongly recommend nobody else to go either. Reason being when I was putting in my order the man was very rudely sarcastic about the whole situation. I did what I could to stay calm and continue using my manners like "may I" and "please". I believe if you want respect you have to give it, and dealing with those two employees showed me they could use a lesson or two about that. So my visit was less then pleasent. My family planned a simple wedding reception to host 50 guests. When speaking to the manager about our needs and requirements, we were told a sufficient 'buffet' style spread would be $170.
Having asked and received clarification on the quantity of food necessary to feed the entire party, we were reassured the order would be sufficient.
Then the food arrived. We immediately called the same manager who said the meal we ordered was only for 20 people. With an hour to spare, we were given no choice but to pay ANOTHER $225 for the food we were supposed to receive in the first place.
The 'outlined' services were misleading and, quite frankly, fraudulent. The manager had no quarrels with misrepresenting his product and the price.
Imagine this, you're throwing a small reception for close family on a limited budget, then an hour before dinner, the driver shows up with what amounts to 40% of the purchased food.
It's been my experience that restaurant managers tend to do what they can to ensure all is copacetic. Having us trapped, with an hour left before the event, the only thing this manager was trying to do was take advantage.
