This place is a mess. My wife's engagement ring needed cleaning so we went and had it done. The lady brought the ring back telling us that there's a problem. We were told that the prongs holding the diamond are loose. This is a new ring not even a year old. So we asked how much. $449.00 we were told. We asked for a manager and we're told there's none working. So we come back on a Monday and ask for a manager and I was told the manager is busy. That they could help me. Was told again ring needed repair before we lose the stone. Okay, I asked how much, was told $99.00. Big difference huh? Anyway the girl who I thought was a robot, tells me the guy was new and forgive him he didn't know better, still learning the job. So I left and took it to Max's Jewelers downtown Columbus. There guy looked at it and we were told that the ring was poorly made, that the prongs were very thin, weak. This ring came from Kay Jewelers. Not right. So everyone be careful. She is now deceased and my ring is that much more special. A few months ago I sent my ring in to have a diamond replaced, it chipped over 5 years ago. 2 diamonds ended up needing replaced, I also had my rings cut apart and re-sautered together (they were a bit crooked from the first sautering), re-dipped in rhodium and polished. I was sans ring for a little over 2 months. Kassandra and Tiffany helped keep my worry down and stayed on top of any updates. Fast forward a month, after I received my almost brand new wedding set, and it's on it way back to home office. I just thought one of the diamonds was super sharp, however, upon looking under a microscope Kassandra found my setting has been significantly destroyed.
