Northern Tool + Equipment — Local services in Kannapolis

It's tough to provide a 4 or 5 start product review when you never get the product. Northern Tool seems content to advertise Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals only to tell them 'sorry, cant fulfill this order'. I ordered the kit version of this product which came with the chimney liner and free gift card. After 7 emails back and forth with their short/rude customer 'service' dept (which btw takes far too long to respond) culminated in zero effort on their part to make the issue they caused right. Any other company would have at least offered a superior product, or pieced the 2 part kit together from the insert and liner which they STILL readily sell through their site - it just costs a lot more. The classic 'bait and switch', Northern Tool seems content to not only ruin their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal for you, they conveniently wait to provide their 'dear john' letter' saying they won't fulfill the original order long after the holiday deals have ended at the OTHER stores as well...basically costing you the money you could have saved not just at their store, but ALL OTHER retailers as well. All I have repeatedly asked is for them to honor their original offering which they have refused to do. A man of my word, I told them if they refused to honor their original deal, I'd post an honest review of Northern Tool all over the web (not just on their site which they control). Came in for the first time to check out what this store has, only checked out a gas canister and didnt touch or buy anything. As soon as I walk out of the store it beeps. I sat down in my car and all the employees run out on their phones, dont know who they were calling so I came out and asked if that was me that triggered the alarm. They said yes and I willingly told them I'll walk through again and was offended by an employee accusing me of stealing something and saying "I bet you won't ring this time", so I offered them to look through my car if they believe that I stole something and to check their surveillance cameras, they were just standing there refusing to say anything else.
