Spencer's — Local services in Concord

Warning do not pay cash they will not return whatever u buy even if it has hole in it and u literally just bought it... At least put sign by cash register so customers know, no cash refunds, the worst part is we asked an employee if returns are possible before purchase and nothing was said to us of no cash refunds neither does it say it on my receipt.. The assistant manager rudely went out of his way to show us his name badge that he is the assistant manager so that he was not going to approve the refund ,get better staff because people are going to shop less at your store if that's the kind of customer service that people are going to receive. Customers should get treated better than how u guys have it. There's no reason why someone should not be able to get a refund back with the receipt if they paid in cash a credit card is understandable and no I do not want store credit because I don't plan on shopping at Spencer's if this theJ8na way u guys do business. Oh by the way i tried using my debit at first it didnt go through online error supposedly that's why I paid cash didn't have choice but still...

Me and my boyfriend came to pick something up before close. As soon as we walked into the store we were immediately followed to the back by an employee who assumed we were stealing. She did not greet us and pretended like she was working and kept staring at us the whole time it was extremely obvious and made us both uncomfortable. She kept looking at me and I kept looking at her trying to ignore her staring so we can get what we needed and leave. Then she started to talk to us out of nowhere from across the back of the store about the underwear we came for which made us more uncomfortable. We left without buying anything will never be coming back to this location. I have never been to a Spencer’s where they treated me and my partner like thieves. It made us extremely uncomfortable and upset to be profiled by a white employee and ruined our night. I'm one of those people that needs to walk into every box Lunch/spencers/ hottopic that I see. I don't remember what was on the front of the Spencer's this particular day, but I definitely walked in cackling. I always find that there's someone in the front who's folding shirts or just making sure the merchandise looks nice, and the woman who was in the front this particular day was also extremely friendly and laughed with me cuz she knew exactly what I was laughing at. I really wish I remembered! The store is very clean and though it is one of the smaller stores that I've been in, I find it to be a very cool location. I'm definitely going to return for some...
