My fiance and I purchased both my engagement and wedding rings from this Zales. I guess that is where this huge disaster began⊠We donât buy a lot of expensive jewelry so we didnât have the experience required to purchase something as important as a wedding ring. The ring we bought was very beautiful, but didnât come with any kind of card or paperwork indicating what type of diamonds we had purchased and we werenât aware it should have. That was just the start of our problems. We purchased the warranty with the ring that requires you to get your ring inspected every six months. We actually live in Wyoming and the closest Zales to us is almost 6 hours away and it is currently wintertime which can make travel very difficult. It also made getting the ring sized difficult. The warranty of course would cover that but only if I made the 6 hour drive, so I opted to have it sized at another jewelry store here in town. I am so sorry and grateful at the same time that I did. I went to pick up my ring after having it sized at my local jewelry store and the sales girl informed me that one of the smaller diamonds had fallen out. She explained that it was normal when cutting and stretching the gold, changing it, the diamonds can sometimes loosen. As we were speaking and she was inspecting the ring, 2 more diamonds fell out. Of course they kept the ring to repair it, at no cost, but I had an uneasy feeling, I hadnât even had it for 6 months. This piece of jewelry is supposed to last my lifetime and possibly be passed down? So I called to speak to the jeweler. He told me that he was uncomfortable with how the diamonds were set, that they werenât set well. He said heâd had to repair some of my prongs because the were broken and that the setting wasnât very good quality. After hearing this my fiance and I decided that we wanted to return the ring to Zales a buy a different one somewhere else. I called this store and explained everything to the woman who answered and she said I was past the return period and had to choice but to keep the ring. When I told her one of my concerns was that we had no idea what quality of diamonds we bought, she said we bought good ones. I said, yes, but how do we know that? She said because Iâm telling you they are good. I was in tears and she was just nasty. We also later found out that the warranty will not cover the center stone. Your center stone it the whole ring Luckily, our local jewelry store went out of their way to make us whole and I now have the most beautiful ring. The diamonds in this ring have serial numbers and paperwork. I know Zales carries a lot of beautiful things but you would be so much better off buying somewhere else, especially something as important as your...
Read moreBe careful with the poor intergriy of the sales people in this store. I went to buy my wife a small ring for her birthday present and they didn't have her size. Instead of informing me that I could order any size on their website the (somewhat fat) sales lady stuck me with a ~$100 additional fee (on a $389 ring), which she said would cover changing the size, which would take 2 weeks to do she said. I later found out that I could order the ring on the website in any size so I bought it there and returned the store bought ring to the same sales person who sold me. She told me: they sized the ring like we would. We'll, that was without any additional...

Jenny was absolutely amazing! We spent three hours (yes, three!) trying to find the perfect ring, and NOT once did she lose her patience even though I kept changing my mind about the stones, colors, and sizes. She was so accommodating, helpful, and honestly just fun to be around! Her sense of humor made the whole experience feel like we were shopping with a friend, not just a supervisor.
She gave us honest opinions, great suggestions, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Her good vibes and professionalism made what couldâve been a stressful search really enjoyable.
Thank you, Jenny! Youâre a...
