I used to love this store. They have popular brands of clothing at unbeatable prices. They also are better presented than say, Marshall's, their relative store. I had always had great experiences with shopping here, up until recently, after their reopening.. something has drastically changed. While their selections have always been lesser compared to the large variety at the Manchester location, the options now are slim to nil. I understand the low stock is due to increase amid reopening, but what cannot be justified is the employees new mannerism, which is to gather seven plus employees who will noticeably, uncomfortably, and very obviously follow you around the store to each section you visit, making you feel so unwelcome you are compelled to leave. I have been tempted on the last three visits to walk out and leave everything I had in my shopping cart to purchase. I don't believe I've ever left this store empty handed - often times spending more than I intend initially. Upon Christmas time I spend hundreds at this store. It is unprofessional, unethical, and inappropriate to treat customers this way. Inconceivable as to why they think this should be allowed, as I was not acting in any manner which warrants this maltreatment. I understand they need to check to be sure customers are honest, but the sheer amount of "secret shoppers" in every isle that "nonchalantly" follow you around is unwarranted. There is an unbalanced ratio of employees trying to "catch you" doing something wrong, than there is legitimate shoppers. Until they change this new policy, which allows even (a few) maskless employees to stand directly next to you while looking through the clothing racks while there is ample space of the store, is unacceptable. I will not continue to shop here if they keep up this act, as I have never left without paying for something, which one can assume is what they are implying with their actions. They also find it bizarre that you pick out more items than usual, which you now have to pay for up front, take home and try on, and then bring back as they have not reopening the fitting rooms. You are then ridiculed with questions as to why you are bringing so many items back. Even though it is their policy that you are allowed to do so, knowing there is no way to try anything on, when some of us try on fifty things and come out with three or four. I am less...
Read moreThe older woman in the fitting room was extremely rude, I told her the amount of items I had and she rolled her eyes and snatched them from me. She handed me the "6" card, when I was done and heading to check out, I left the card in the fitting room on accident and I went to hand her the 4 items I didn't want and kept my 2 that I wanted. I handed her the four items and went to walk away when she snatched my 2 items out of my hands and told me to get the card or I couldn't have my items back. I told her she was acting crazy and just went to the rack and got my items again and purchased them and left. I don't understand why she was acting that way but I definitely think it was...
Read moreThis TJ Maxx is in Concord, NH. The selection was expansive. I am a holy woman of God, and I must dress modestly. I was able to find a wide variety of beautiful dresses, skirts, long cover-ups, and lovely tops. I found pants jumper sets that I can alter to make them into dresses as well. I loved this location! And as you can see from the picture, there is NO limit to the amount of clothes you can bring into the dressing room; as long as they count them before you go in. The employees were amazing. My cashier was so engaging that I wish they could receive tips for exceptional service. Awesome experience...
