Went to B.Good Concord on a recommendation. There were two other people eating there at the time. Ordered two Classic Burgers, one with cheese, side Caeser salad, French fries, two B.Good Brownies, Strawberry Banana Shake.
The Burgers were good, the fries though were not hot, and also small in portion. The Strawberry-Banana Shake was non-descript. (Could have be soy milk? Barely sweet, small in size.10 oz?). The B.Good Brownies were also strange, made from Black Beans and cocoa? The Burgers were o.k. but over priced at $7.50 and $9.00 for one with a piece of cheese. The Shake was very barely strawberry like, little to no banana flavor and possibly soy milk? Small in portion and overpriced at $6.50. the B.Good Brownies were about 1/2 inch thick 1 3/4 inch square of a kind of refried bean like cocoa flavored consistency, Over priced flavor-wise and size-wise priced at $3.98 for two. The Side Caesar salad wasn't Caesar at all and had the wrong cheese and not Caesar dressing wasn't that at all. Some kind of too vinegary salad dressing. $5.00 for small side. The good thing was the greens the bad thing was the dressing and cheese. The Fries were cold small potato cuts and not tasty. Guacamole dressing was slightly dried on edge and not flavored right. Nice people here, more inclined to natural and local produce which is good. Service could be better, and the natural flavors need improvement. Food is way...
Read moreIn my life I remember only three meals I have ordered from a resteraunt and disliked to the point of having to send it back. Two of those meals were replaced quickly, and I was not charged for them. The other came from b.good.
let me tell you about the worst burger I've ever tasted. I want you to imagine an onion that'sbeen left out in the sun for a few days. Imagine the smell of it, the damp skunky fumes that leak out of it's wilted corpse. I want you to take that onion and put it between to old dry sponges, make sure they were used before drying out. This is the best way to describe the flavor and texture of b.good's burger.
The one I ordered came on an old stale bun, contained approximately 39 gallons of barbeque sauce, a highschool cafeteria grade patty, some sort of plastic cheese, and onions and mushrooms. I couldnt choke down more than one bite. Everything was overcooked, and I could make a better burger out of roadkill and things I find on the side if the highway. No one behind the counter seemed to care about my concerns, so I chucked the entire thing into the garbage and got a shake instead. The shake was edible.
The burrito place they replaced may have been expensive, but b.good has to really wow me if it wants a single shread of respect out of me....
Read moreI am sadly updating my review as we recently had a really poor experience at this location all around. They are definitely under new management because the old management was great. It was 100% a different experience and food that's way, way too undercooked for a young child is unacceptable. It could have crawled off the plate it was so underdone. The worst part is the cook didn't offer to replace it or cook my young son a new one.She just said something with her back turned from across the kitchen.Unreal.We are polite, reserved people too. There was zero ketchup that night, limited drinks, fries were even undercooked, and trashcans covered in back saying out of use even though it was 4 pm. I even wrote in to let them know. Zero response, and no offer to refund us.I am so disappointed in more than one way. This used to be such a wonderful place, but it is really going downhill. I guess we will need to find a new healthy place to go out once a week.So...
