Metal in my food!! I’ve eaten here so many times in the past and never had any issues so today i decided I was going to order food with my coworker here, but never again! I placed my order after writing it down on a sticky note, I ordered a teriyaki chicken bento box, a soup, and sushi. I told the lady I specifically wanted a bento box as my first words! At the end of the call she let me know the total, and I thought it was much higher then it should have been (thought maybe I didn’t hear her right). I sent my coworker to pick it up and the total came to $75! I called the restaurant after he had paid and told me the price, and explained I only wanted a bento box and not individual items. The lady who took my phone begin to tell me I ordered it wrong, saying i never said I wanted a bento box. Anyways, she ended up refunding the difference in cash (about $17). My coworker goes and picks up the cash while I’m at work eating my lunch. About 10 mins into my break I notice this hard metal string/wire (the item in the photo) sticking out of my meal. I call the restaurant once again and explain that there’s metal in my food. For some reason no one could understand what I was telling them. I explained I just want a refund and I will not be eating this. They tell me I need to return all the food for a refund. At this point I’m irritated because between me and my coworker this is the 3rd trip there (20 mins each time). I get to the restaurant with my order and immediately I showed the lady the photo of the metal piece in my food and all she said was oh ok while taking the bag from my hands. Another lady comes over and asks me for the cash back that she gave my coworker earlier in order to refund my order. I asked her why do I need the cash? Why can’t you just refund the difference or give me back the rest of the money in cash? The lady tells me the manager just left so she can’t give me the cash and that she needs the cash back from the previous “refund”. Honestly I'm baffled that they wanted me to go back and drive there again just for a refund. Also the fact that the manager left when I arrived after hearing that there was metal in my food is horrible! I ended up leaving and went to the grocery store next door to do a cash back transaction so I could avoid another 20 min drive. I will not be eating here again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either! If I could give zero...

I was going to give them at least 3 stars just for the lack of good service but now having eaten my food, I’d give zero or negative stars. Was waiting for my boyfriend. Saw that there was a sushi place nearby and after haven driven 1 1/2 hours I was hungry. I figured I’d eat something then and go to eat with him later L, So I ordered thinking it’d be no more than 15 minutes. They were rude right off the bat. After I paid 26 dollars and even left a tip. They ran off without telling me how long it was going to be. I flagged the host down and asked. She said 30 minutes. I did not see anyone there to say it was packed enough to be busy. I heard 1 group of people and it didn’t sound like many. There was no one else ordering. When I came back there were people waiting outside and they were told 15 minutes but had been waiting for more than 40 minutes by the time they got there order. I went inside to ask how much longer since it’d been a while and that I wanted to know when to come back. The girl was very rude saying the guy behind me ordered online. I responded by saying I wasn’t asking about him, I’m asking because I need to leave to pick up my boyfriend’s daughter and needed to know so I could come back. 15 minutes later I finally get it. The shumai was a little soggy but okay. Not worth what it cost. The alligator roll definitely was not worth it nor the wait. They did not use fresh salmon. It was gross. With the Covid pandemic you would think they would have to use fresh produce more than ever. I wait 50 minutes to get non fresh food with terrible service. So I’m happy I don’t live close by. I asked my boyfriend if he wanted to try and he laughed and said I will find out how terrible they are in a minute. I should have known. I would not...

The good: food tasted very good, and it was a fairly quiet, comfortable atmosphere.
The bad: they are cheap (not inexpensive)and incapable of basic communication. You really need to be clear about exactly what you want and double check your bill. Just about every hibachi place out there gives you soup, salad, fried rice, fried noodles, and two pieces of shrimp with any hibachi meal you order. This place advertises that you get soup, salad, and white rice. You can get a side order of noodles for like $3.00. Okay, not the end of the world, it’s only $3. However, then they won’t bring you any rice (even though your meal comes with white rice). When I asked about the missing rice, I quickly found that nobody that works here speaks clear enough English to understand and remedy the issue. And, even more annoying, after I just tried to tell them to forget about it (because it’s not that big of a deal) different people kept coming over and trying to explain that I was wrong when I just wanted to eat my food and enjoy conversation with my family. One person even brought a page from the menu and circled where it mentions the rice and pointed at another person’s white rice(for what, I do not know). The real kicker; the person whose rice she was pointing at specifically said “I don’t like rice. I want a side of noodles. Please don’t bring me any rice.” Well, they brought her white rice and fried rice...and then charged her for both noodles, fried rice, and white rice (even though the meal comes with it).
Bottom line: it’s all minor issues, but it’s pretty annoying when nobody can communicate well enough to understand any of the issues. Again, food was good, but I’d sooner put up with the noisier atmosphere...
