Was shamed and humiliated by the employees because I went behind the partition to obtain an item from the display case. I did this to help the employees sad there was NOONE on the floor to help me…I did not see the item in the store and they were very busy so a i thought i was doing them a favor by grabbing it so they could help me locate it. Since there was NOONE on the floor to help customers… You would have thought I shot someone the way the male employee treated me when i told him i went behind the partition to grab what i was looking for… He humiliated and shamed me for it in front of other employees and customers and took it to a level that it did not need to be taken… It’s like he was a mean girl from high school… What he didn’t realize while he proceeded to talk about me and shame me after I left the store…was that my friend, who was prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on luggage and WAS a regular customer, heard every word he said… Again, I went behind the partition because there was noone on the floor to help me… And i thought i was doing them a favor by retrieving the item i was looking for so they didn’t have to.. To be humiliated and shamed like that for trying to help out an obviously understaffed store…was unprofessional, uncalled for this man should know he lost a customer who spent thousands of dollars on Vera Bradley products and now is boycotting them because of his behavior today… Hope the laughs you got from your customers and coworkers at my expense...

I have shopped at Settlers Green before. But today when I came from Maine with my little boy, I decided to go into Vera Bradley! Omg! Blown away! I was wondering where everyone was going when all I could see were ladies with reusable pink bags. Lol. But anyways, I got a wallet/can be a crossbody...usually goes for $145!
