Discount Meat Market — Local services in Conyers

What a wonderful surprise to find this place tucked into a nearby Reynoldstown corner on Moreland. I'd driven by many times but never checked out the stores until a friend recommended this place. It's a no-frills, inexpensive meat market with great customer service. I need to buy bulk chicken for my business and was happy to find this little meat gem much closer to home. This place saves me the drive to Restaurant Depot, which although less expensive, is a much further drive with horrible customer service. I would rather pay a few extra dollars and support the local guy who has great customer service. Chris, the manager perhaps, was outstanding. He was extremely accommodating, super friendly, got my special order in the next morning and even carried my case of chicken backs out to my car. What a refreshing...

This complaint is small but I felt some type of way. I came in today with my pregnant wife to get some meats and she had to go to the bathroom that’s in the front but the guy said let me ask the owner and the owner came out and said it’s not for customers. I understand rules but there are certainly exceptions especially when we were literally the only one in there and I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. I was with them when they were in Atlanta. If anyone understands pregnancy then you know she has to pee a lot and has a weak bladder. I just felt slighted because where is the humanity, compassion and understanding. I have been to this market a few times. This market is staffed with excellent people. Great customer service, great prices, and good quality meat. By far, the cleanest meat market that I’ve been in all of Covington and Conyers. Besides the fresh meat, you can smell cleaning products used to keep the market smelling fresh.
