BELLA VISTA TACOS IN PICTURE. PLEASE VISIT THEM AND NOT COZUMEL. **It took me awhile to come here and finally wrote this review for this establishment bc I’ve enjoyed it for so long and it’s sad to even write this but oh well. I’ve been going to Cozumel since 2014. I visited this place 3 weeks ago on a Friday night. The young lady at the front who is always helpful took my order , repeated and confirmed as she always does. Once I got my food ( which was walked to me outside bc I guess they say me out there waiting) I could smell a horrible fish smell which prompted me to immediately open the bags up and see what was in it bc I know shrimp doesn’t smell that bad. In fact , it was fish tacos that smelled horrible. It was literally flour tortillas and chopped up smelly fish. The smell was hinting spoiled fish. I returned back into the establishment to let them know of the error and patiently waiting another 20 min for shrimp tacos well done , corn tortillas, cilantro , onion , lettuce , cheese. I got my tacos and it was undercooked shrimp that was still pink (last few minutes before closing at this time I’m sure the cooks were rushing and ready to go), FLOUR tortillas, and no toppings. I then requested out of $50 that I just be refunded $13 for the shrimp taco meal. The young lady who took my order brought the “manager” JOSE to the front where he rudely stated he doesn’t do refunds and he can have anything else one the menu made. He didn’t apologize or acknowledge the errors of his staff made and took no accountability. I told him I would dispute the payment( which I didn’t bc why should a great family business suffer bc of this poor character JOSE). When I told him that he said “that’s okay”. I’m sure their is somebody over JOSE that he would’ve had to explain why he had to refund money back to a customer that night , that is why he was so fine with me saying I would dispute it. I left the tacos there after he denied me a refund bc the team he “manages” made several errors that he couldn’t even acknowledge . I was so disgusted and disappointed. The way he presented his self as a manager is totally trash. I even called a few times to see if I could speak to someone else to address my concerns but every time JOSE answers the phone. So hopefully this review makes it to somebody other than JOSE the “manager”. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT However I can recommend if you are looking for great authentic Mexican food visit Bella Vista in conyers THEIR TACOS ARE PICTURED IN...

In my experience, whether it be an assistant manager, the manager or a server, they would do whatever it takes to keep the few customers they have happy so that they would come back, put in a good review & recommend their restaurant to others. Didn't happen! May sound petty, but I'm paying for a meal that I expect to be good, I understand sometimes things go a little wrong & it's not as good as expected. So, why not make the adjustment for that reason. I'm not adding or taking away anything, it's just an extra plate. Why such attitude? Read moreI literally never write a review let alone a bad review but TODAY I have to. They recently just reopened from renovating..in which I thought they would upgrade their food as well. The only decent thing on the menu was their shrimp & steak cheese dip. I ordered 3 tacos combo for almost $16 ..I only ate one taco because it literally have no flavor even down the the sweet tea and lemon drink I asked the lady had to remake it and it still wasn’t good the tea was old ..they have this new policy that if the food isn’t wrong on their behalf they can’t take it back or take it off the check …you would think with the new policy they would make the food better but of course their using us to pay back from the money they spent in renovations in which I get BUT I would’ve made sure my food was top tier ..the food wasn’t good before the renovation nor after ..we talked to the manager and was willing to pay for the one taco that I ate …he bluntly said “MY POLICY IS ON OUR MENU” ..but customer satisfaction should be top priority..we never go out to look for free food and we tip generously in most case. .. unfortunately sometimes the food will determine tip and even if it wasn’t good the situation wasn’t handled right …this restaurant has lost my family and I business…do better ..the server was nice though and apologetic the manager just didn’t give a damn just worried about their money return ..ps ..if you don’t see Mexicans eating at a Mexican restaurant RUN!! Only Hispanics that was there only was at the bar drinking . We spent $62 and some change in total with a $10 tip which my fiancés and I minimum we would tip that’s a “just because “ tip food + atmosphere + customer service will not only get returning customers BUT better tips for the waiters...
