Sigman Bottle Shop — Local services in Conyers

Didn’t want to send this, but I felt someone in your establishment should know. Today I had called into the store to buy 10 bottles of wine that was sold out at other stores. They said yes we have it. I said that I was going to pick it up in about an hour. No troubles there, until I got to the store and mentioned that I wanted to buy the 10 bottles that I came for. The cashier helps me and remembers the order, then gets on the phone to call someone to bring the case of wine to the front. Then all of a sudden someone over the phone asked Are they white? Is the customer a white person? The cashier looked at me and said no they’re not white and they’re standing right in front of me. Now me, not being a white person was humiliated. Honestly confused. It was disrespectful, and it was racist above all things else. Why does it matter if I am white or not???? I’m just here to buy a case of wine- 10 bottles at that!! I’m a customer, who is giving you all business. So why does that matter? Now, since this was either the manager, stock employee, or vendor. It was definitely unacceptable. I am a whiskey guy and their selection that they have here is unmatched by any bottle shop that I have ever been to. They also have people there that have great advice for different drinks that you haven't tried. They also have great wine, gin, tequila, vodka and rum that I have ever seen. The area that you go through is amazingly clean and their prices are crazy cheap compared to other bottle shops in the area. It's hard to find great advice, selections, and price that is hard to match. And they have a great selection of samples that you could ask for. I love this place. They have a decent beer selection and they're very fairly priced. The one thing I LOVE about this shop is their bourbon and scotch selection.

The bourbon collection is pretty massive... And has everything from Old Grand-Dad to a collection with a nice bottle of Pappy.

The scotch selection is a good bit smaller but there are no slackers on their shelves. They have my go-to Macallans and some really good Highland Park.

You will find something for every taste here. Plus their cigar samplers are always in good condition thanks to their neighbor...
