931 Sports Cards & Collectibles — Local services in Cookeville

Honestly, I am disappointed with my experiences (two in total) when visiting 931 Collectibles. During my first visit at 931, I was excited to check it out as there hasn't been a quality shop in Cookeville for awhile. Nevertheless, when I was browsing the cases I was constantly being watched by the staff. I ended up initiating a conversation with the owner which went alright, but the conversation with his employee went the opposite (cold/distant/get out feeling). I left the shop figuring I had caught them at the wrong time and that my next experience would be better. I WAS WRONG. I ended up bringing a friend this time around to 931, and while I was there I tried to initiate a conversation with the owner. I was asking simple "has there been any big pulls this week/how has the week been/is this for sale?" questions. The owner seemed cold and distant (my friend agreed), and I finally came to the conclusion that these people don't care for small talk (which is fine). What made me write this review is that I was charged a "CC Fee," when paying with cash, and when I questioned the owner he said it was a processing charge and that's what they have at 931. I am glad there are others with better experiences then I have had, and I wrote this for the people who have had negative experiences and either are afraid to say anything/don't want to say anything at all. Where do I start! First off Katie and Tori were AMAZING and super friendly! I was able to work a big deal with Josh who was more than reasonable and was awesome to do a deal with. The best part I don’t usually rip wax too much anymore but was having such a great time decided to buy an Optic Mega and pulled a Justin Jefferson Uptown! As someone coming all the way from Ohio to visit for the week I would 100% visit this shop! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and they have earned my business...
