Five Below — Local services in Cookeville

A great place to grab the odds and ends you can't find anywhere else, especially candy. Everything is under $5 and while much of what they have is cheap "junk", you can find items such as Bluetooth headphones or speakers, books, candles and so forth. The headphones might be inexpensive but I have purchased a pair or two through the years from them and they have actually lasted much longer then ones like my JBL's or Skull Candy and while for $5 you aren't going to get something that sounds like a surround sound theater, you can get some that deliver decent quality for the price point.

My big draw is the candy as they were one of the few places that sell various flavors of Pocky (one of our sons favorites) or that carries the Twizzler rope. The store is always clean and the staff is super friendly. If you're out and about it's worth stopping in juat to check...

Disorganized & messy store w/stuff everywhere making it extremely difficult to maneuver around things. There were no baskets/carts available to use, no employees working in the store part (only cashiers up at front counter) to assist customers that were shopping, the checkout line was long & the cashier was not the least bit friendly. Plus their prices did not seem to be of great value & personally felt prices were high, not discount prices. Unfortunately not a store that would be at the top of my recommendation list for the reasons...

Fun items and good variety, store was clean, only 3 stars given because an employee barged between me and my family twice without saying excuse me or sorry. On her second time through she bumped into my daughter and never said the first thing! Also to begin with she stood behind the counter watching the other girl do all the work while playing with a slinky and as soon as the line started getting longer she left from behind the counter. Business will not last long with employees like that....
