I went in 2 days ago. I wasn’t greeted but didn’t really mind that, it makes me nervous. What did bother me is the two worker (an Asian women and older women) bickered the whole time. The Asian women belittled the older one about something who then walked away and muttered about if she quits they’ll wish she didn’t. Later the older women was showing on the computer and telling the younger one (in front of me) that the sign the other lady was wanting them to work on wasn’t supposed to be up until the next day and complaining. Well after I checked out and was leaving they had the sign and pole in the floor. I was walking out and the older women moved the pole not seeing I was walking by (probably because the bickering) and it hit me causing me to stumble and hurt the back of my ankle area that now had a mark/small bruise. They acknowledged it but I was so upset about to cry and embarrassed I said something like it’s fine and ran out but assessed quickly my leg which didn’t have a bruise but we all know we’ve banged into something and then it’s like that’ll leave a mark, that type of feeling . I was too upset to drive so I walked through Five Below then left. I called customer service who was like did you call the store manager (like hello did you not hear my story) so I called a different store that I’ve always had good experience in for help. She emailed the district manager who I hope to hear from. My mom & sister spend so much money in Torrid. I go through seasons. I just wanted stuff for my NP clinical. It was a ratchet experience and...
Read moreEdit to add: I also too my return back to the same torrid my sister took hers to and magically they returned it without any issues!!!!
To be honest I LOVE torrid and it is one of the main places I shop but the girls at the cookeville location are just so incredibly rude. One in particular but I won’t call her out by name. My sister and I both had issues with making a return. She stated my sister return couldn’t be put back on the card she purchased it with which was her TORRID CREDIT CARD, but she could have a gift card (and yes it was within the return policy time frame.) She wanted her return put back on the torrid card vs a gift card she didn’t want to spend more money ! How are you going to say we can’t return something to your own store credit card. My sister took it to a torrid in Nashville in which it was trying to do the same thing but they could magically over ride it! Isn't that funny. This in particular sales associate never seems to want to find a solution just “I’m sorry we can’t do that.” Needless to say I’ll be canceling my card and finding somewhere...
Read moreI went into Torrid tonight since I needed to be sized for bras due to my old bras not fitting anymore. I was immediately offered help by Leah, who was so sweet and hilarious. She showed me the selection of bras they had and which ones she thought that I would love, which I did! She checked on me to see if the bras were fitting right and if I wanted to try on any other bras. All the women working at this store tonight were so sweet and did everything right to make sure I left satisfied. They also made sure to help me save money with the deals going on and informing me about it. I have never felt so welcomed into a store, and I'm excited to...
