Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Cookeville

Absolutely amazing! First off, I love chicken salad but I am picky! There was one other place in town that I like the chicken salad so this is saying a lot that I found it amazing.

When you walk in the atmosphere is great and inviting. Even though it was opening week and there were people at almost every table we were able to still order within minutes of looking at the menu without having to wait in a huge line. I definitely have enough employees to take care of everybody in a timely manner.

Honestly there's so many choices that you won't know what to choose when you first walk in to be honest there were several different kinds I wanted to try but I decided to go with the Fancy Nancy and definitely was not disappointed!

We were able to purchase either a scoop of chicken salad for a sandwich or a croissant with a side item her soup for $7.99 which is a very reasonable price. All the food was amazing and I will definitely be getting more!

Could be a cute place but the management was very rude to the couple in front of me it was very awkward and blatant as well.. if you cannot sell more than one grape salad per customer why on earth sell it at all the husband even offered to be on a separate check to get some they made a huge deal out of it and we’re extremely rude and made a scene it was truly shocking to witness my first and last experience at this particular place. Never ever have a I seen a customer who was being nice and paying he treated so rudely … I said I didn’t understand it and she was rude to me too!! She said we are not a fast food restaurant I said well I have actually worked in cafes where everything was homemade and we like repeat customers. Quite shocking behavior to be honest not someone I would hire to work with the public doesn’t handle the customer nor her emotions like...

Called at 7:43 PM and they close at 8 PM. Wanted to order carry out. Trying to be polite and order it in advance so I could just run in and grab it before they closed but the girl on the phone was quick to say you know we close in 15 minutes? She then placed me on hold for two minutes and came back on to say we are not supposed to take takeout orders after 7:30 PM. OK, no problem. You don’t get my business now or ever again. I was literally in the store right next door and was simply trying to be kind by calling in advance. So, my question is, if I walked in at 7:58 PM, would you actually serve me? Or would you tell me sorry we stopped serving 30 minutes ago? If you don’t want to serve past 7:30 PM then close at 7:30 PM. So tired of the crappy customer...
