Called to find a special grade of steel wool (000) specifically recommended by the manufacturer of a pellet stove which we purchased from them. "Jimmy" answered the phone and said they did not have it but suggested an easier method of getting the creosote off the glass which would be easier to use. It was a liquid cleaner and he had 3 on the shelf. I said I'd be by later. He quipped that just on the off-chance that someone could come in and buy all three, he would reserve one for me at the customer service desk. Later that day, we went there + it was waiting for us. While there, we searched for a sealant for the stove which turned out was out of stock. Again, he offered to help. He offered a raincheck for the sealant + asked us to check back at the end of the week. He was knowledgable, courteous and saved us floundering around hunting for these things. That was greatly appreciated. That store has the most adorable miniature 2" animals, possibly to put on a train layout? I wish they weren't so expensive $5.99 for a tiny horse or cow etc but very nicely made. I understand that in the springtime they have live baby ducks + chicks which I'm looking forward to seeing. My son buys his caps there for only $5. They had thick, warm socks with steel toe reinforcement but were $14.99. It might be a nice "stocking stuffer" for my contractor son. I wish they'll have the Amish farmer's market in their parking lot again, that was so special, great veggies and a treasured...
Read moreOn 8/8/23 at around 9:30 a.m. I came by to get 2 bbq tanks filled. The kid that filled the tanks was rude & unprofessional. I asked a question & he was clearly annoyed. The cc machine wasn't working & he told me my cc was denied. I said impossible, the last time I was here it was the same thing the machine wasn't working. I said should I go in to pay, he said yes. I asked him if he could put the filled tanks into my car, ( I can't pick up the filled tanks) he said yes but seemed annoyed. But wouldn't put them in the car til I went in & paid. When I came out he put the tanks in the car but at that point I was as cold & rude as him. I was going to tip him before his bad attitude showed up, but decided he didn't deserve it. After his horrible attitude, under his breathe, he said "have a good day", as if i would believe him at that point. I will never again go to Tractor Supply in Mt. Pocono or any other Tractor Supply, they're more expensive than any other place for propane but since they're close to my home I get my tanks & my rv filled there. I'll go out of the way from now on, at least the other places the people...
Read moreI would like to bring this to the Attention of whom ever is in charge or Overlooking this. All of the Vets that have been contracted for Vet services through Tractor Supply & Pet supply - All the vets that are scheduled on the website will CANCEL RELIGIOUSLY even though they’re SCHEDULED. This is a Major Inconvenience for anyone who is making the time to come to any of these locations . ( one worker from the store Told me that the vets are all from NJ and they travel about 3hrs away. What sense does that make for someone to travel 3hrs only to work for a hour and half. ) and as if we Don’t have any Vets in the State of Pennsylvania. Completely distasteful experience and always consistent with being inconsistent. I’m sure I’m not the only who feels this Way!
