Wonderfully luxurious and excellent place for our seniors to live in. Love this place! Their care, sense of commitment and empathy is superb! Everything is 5-star quality at The Palace at Coral Gables. Starting with the managers, chefs, receptionists, all the way to their janitors and valet personnel, everyone is friendly, respectful, loving and caring. All of the managers and staff are dedicated and truly involved in making sure that the residents are well taken care of, loved and happy being at The Palace. They offer a multitude of amenities and activities to their residents. They take the time to truly know the residents by name, likes, dislikes and everything relating to each individual person living there. They even have many activities that involved the residents' families and closed friends whom are always welcome. Kudos and thanks for going above and beyond!

I am back to update my previous review from a few years back.

I recently visited The Palace at Coral Gables and I still feel that this is the best place to have any loved ones in the third age to live-in during their retirement years.

The residents are friendly and welcoming to any newcomers. I have visited a couple of times as a guest and even though I do not reside at this wonderful and beautiful place, I always feel welcome and as if I belong.

Additionally, all of the staff is very professional, friendly, compassionate and caring. Starting with the Valet service , to the reception, dinning department, concierge, housekeeping and all the way to the maintenance department which keeps the building, well, updated, luxurious and sparkling,. The Palace at Coral Gables is definitely an excellent experience for those who reside there.

Our uncle Merriel is a resident at the Palace Coral Gables and we could not be happier. Never mind the luxurious trappings and the amazing social events they provide for their residents. The biggest asset The Palace has is their employees. Everyone, from their clinical and janitorial staff, to the activities directors and Chefs, servers, valets are gracious and attentive. They are not just polite, they make the effort to go above and beyond by learning names, tastes and likes of their guests. As family to a resident, we have the peace of mind that his needs AND wants are met with a smile. The lines of communication regarding well being and care are always open. They are so intent on keeping their residents happy that they even host events for non-resident family members to involve us in the Palace community. You truly feel like family when walking in the door.

Another person told me that when it was brought to the attention of the Chefs that a resident had a special dietary request, they scheduled a meeting with her and ALL the Chefs were in attendance. It is THAT important to them that they get it right and meet the mark, every time. Personally, my husband and I cannot wait to meet the minimum age requirement and become residents! Living at The Palace in Coral Gables is like being on a cruise ship. They give you a list of daily activities such as: Tai Chi, yoga, Zumba, jewelry classes, floral classes, mix media art, lectures, movies etc... In addition there is a first class gym and they show you how to use it. They have a happy hour every day with complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres . They have two menus which are changed daily. Twice a week they have a salad bar which is amazing. The servers and employees are very friendly. The Dinning room is beautiful and the plaza is amazingly decorated with beautiful chandeliers. It is very centrally located, only a half a block from Miracle Mile. They organize cultural events, for the Latin, Jewish and other communities. The apartments are very modern and the design is very well thought of. They give you a kitchen, but you don't need to cook because breakfast and dinner are included. Breakfast is my favorite, they offer a wide variety of healthy foods and fruits to choose from. People can also play all kinds of games in a beautiful card room.
