Loved it at first — but unfair membership policies ruined the trust.

I’m really sad to be leaving this review because I genuinely liked this place when I first joined. I only wanted to take a break from waxing, not stop completely and my waxing lady was amazing which is hard to find.

When I called to cancel in February, I was told I needed to send an email — but the way it was handled made me feel pressured not to cancel. They suggested I just freeze my account instead. Life got very busy, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to send the cancellation email immediately.

As a result, they continued charging me for four months — even though I never used any services during that time. They never even offered to help me cancel the membership or called me through the months in case I wanted some services (Before I mentioned cancellation they would call me to set up appointments or confirm appointments) When I finally got around to sending the email to cancel in April (they told me first it was only a text message), they refused to refund the charges, citing their 30-day notice policy. They only offered a non-refundable gift certificate, which I don’t even want to accept because I no longer trust the way they operate and I don’t feel comfortable going there anymore.

Please be very careful before signing up here for the membership: even if you stop using their services and communicate that you want to cancel, you will continue to be charged and they won’t be interested in helping you. There are no refunds, and your money will be lost.

Today I received a variety of wonderful waxing services at Natura from Rafaela and Gigi. First, I got a full Brazilian bikini wax. The use of three types of wax made the experience not only basically painless, but also provided a very smooth finish. The technique of separating the area into separate sections also made the process seamless, not messy, and insanely quick. I was also consistently asked whether the wax was too hot and if I was comfortable. Finishing with the Natura roll-on acids also helped make sure that my skin does not become irritated or infected. Second, I received full legs waxing. This was, once again, done with precision and care. The roll-on wax made it possible to complete large sections at once. My knees were done with special attention to make sure not to bruise my skin. I would like to add, that the direction of hair growth was constantly taken into consideration. If one section had hair growth in various directions, the hair was pulled in different ways.

Everyone is super nice and sweet. I’ve been to the coral gables location three times and every time it got easier and easier. My tech name is Michelle, she such a sweetheart. My first time getting a Brazilian wax, I was so nervous and scared to get it done but Michelle talk me through every step. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and excited to get the next one. Man if you can hear the conversation we have it’s so funny. I’m so happy to have meet her, she will be my forever friend.
