Wild Roots is the best salon in the Newport/Costa Mesa area if you like a laid back vibe like myself. Super mellow place and the girls are super friendly and extremely talented. This is not your typical strip mall salon which is what I like the most. The salon is extremely clean and the layout is really cool (multiple rooms for various services). Ashley is the Owner and she has done my hair for several years. I followed her to three different salons and this one is by far my favorite. I'm so glad she opened up her own salon and love what she's done with the place. I've sent half my family and several friends to Ashley and they're all lifetime clients now. Beautiful salon! Ashley is exceptional - she clearly cares about her clients and creating an amazing atmosphere where you feel calm, happy and safe. She is personable and does an incredible job on my hair every time. I have been getting my haircut from her for about 4 years and am always very happy with the results. Ashley K has been doing my hair for years. I've had her as a hairdresser since I was younger and living on the east coast. It just so happened that she moved to CA and I also ended up around the same area, so I was able to reconnect with her and continue having her as my hairdresser. She works magic on my hair and is so sweet. I always look forward to our appointments to reconnect and feel my best. She has great pricing for cuts and colors, accessible hours, and a good location.
